I know a real Italian grandmother is clutching her pearls!😢😢😢
@Linda A pipe down it was a figure of speech! The intention was shock factor, not religious... NO DISRESPECT INTENTIONS ....
@@BUBBASHAWN banana peppers and pepperoni have no place in a lasagna. A pizza or salad, but not a lasagna! 🤮
exactly, where is the seasoning in the ricotta? And is juicy lasagna something to aim for? Uggghhh
My family would put me in a home if I served that.
... and you're a Mahoney.
Now imagine what would happen if fixing it this way for other Italians.
🧐🥴😯
I’m not Italian but I definitely heard somebody’s Italian ancestors screams! 👀
Please don’t call lasagna
@@user-ji5cr6xs2i you shouldn’t leave comments in the comments section 😂😂😂
Needs way more noodles 😊
Aren't you supposed to boil starch off the pasta 🤔 well everybody's cooking is different, I am a chef got to do it the way I know how😂
Looks like a Walmart commercial. I make pizzas with a 12" tortilla as the crust , Classico spaghetti sauce , mozzarella , pepperoni , fresh mushrooms , and bake it in a toaster oven for 15 minutes . Delicious
make sure to brush the bottoms with seasoned olive oil and use parchment paper! yum
“Looks like a Walmart commercial” gave me the laugh I needed 😂 Reading through I actually have some of that stuff at home; might try it this week if I need a quick snack lol
It's easy indeed! And a time saver! It needs more pasta layers, meat and some seasoning but the idea is good!
3 broken noodles doesn't make it lasagna. I've never seen lasagna with banana peppers.
@@cher2628pepperoni is used in a meat loaded lasagna but not meatballs.
I feel like it needs some more noodles to be considered a lasagna
@@jackofalltrades64 to make traditional lasagna, yes I would have to agree. However if they added more noodle layers into this recipe it could be a pizza lasagna.
@@MusgraveRitual for it to be a traditional lasagna, yes. They weren't making that though. I feel like for something to be in the lasagna family it needs at least two full layers if noodles.
I agree that it does need more noodles (or just use another pasta) if it's going to be a version of a lasagna. However, you could omit the noodles, add ground italian sausage and ground beef that's been browned with diced onion and peppers, and garlic rather than the meatballs, add some more seasoning, replace one of the spaghetti sauce jars with diced tomatoes and perhaps some tomato paste and heat and reduce thoroughly to end up with an Italian style dip that can be served with crostini
I've made a variation of this on many occasions. A little less sauce, a few more noodles, another layer of ricotta with some added Italian seasoning...that's the beauty of a dish like this, you can be as traditional as you want or just throw stuff in the pot if you're in a hurry. I would either use the smaller freezer meatballs or cut the bigger ones up so you get a little meat in every bite. And using a crockpot liner would definitely cut down on cleanup later on. Good video, thumbs up.
Why is everyone so mean in the comments?? Seriously y'all got serious anger issues. This is a very sweet family and many of their meals are good. Like DUH, we know it's not traditional lasagna. It is meant to be for families who need an easy quick meal. Y'all are ridiculous.
Needs SEASONING ON EACH LAYER
@@JoeBrown-oz9et it would be good if everything was seasoned sauce from the jar NEEDS seasoning ricotta cheese NEEDS seasoning and the meat NEEDS seasoning
My stomach is bubbling. Lawrd have mercy 💀
Everything from a package, frozen food and plastic. The essence of American cuisine.
You should use a crockpot liner so its easy to pick up and throw in the trash!!!! NOT LASAGNA!
My poor Grandma is rolling in her grave!!
Well take her off the rotisserie, the poor thing is probably done by now.
Looks absolutely incredible, but I have to agree with other commenters and say it needs more noodles. Will be cooking this soon.
As a New Yorker I cannot approve of this😂...noooooo
@@itscharlesparksmore layers of noodles, absolutely no peppers, pepperoni, or meatballs. Use ground beef and more cheese on top and less sauce. Also its best when you soak the noodles in water for 4-5 hours first.and the obvious of dont make it in a crockpot just use the dang oven!
That's great that the sauce and meatballs were homemade...this woman is as Italian as the olive garden
Wow !! Looks so delicious!! Thanks for sharing this recipe with us 😊😊
What the hell is this? One tiny layer of noodles. no seasonings, and not enough mozzarella. Is this a joke? Why didn't you show us what it looked like when done??????
My nonna just died again.
I make lasagna in my crock pot all the time. It turns out AMAZING!!!
These just get crazier and crazier
Definitely should have layered the noodles more
that looks great
Y’all don’t show us what it looks like when plated 😢
Sorry :( We have a full version of the video but with shorts its hard to keep everything in the time frame.
Just imagine how the inside of your toilet 🚽 looks after you stand up from the bubble guts 😮
Needs more noodles and seasoning!
Absolutely love it❤❤❤
Looking forward to trying this one also
Those meatballs are nasty!!
I agree. I've bought those meatballs and smothered them in garlic powder, onion powder, Wortershire, or liquid smoke to make them taste better. But they taste awful imho.
I make this but I use three layers of noodles
Everybody's so creative!
I just like your recipes and I have tried them and they are so yummy 😊
That looks 🤢
Yup good and juicy ....it's soup
I never thought about putting lasagna in a crockpot.
This is a great idea for camping.
Mmmmm that looks so good 😊!!
Yuck
Where's the lasagna noodles I just see a bunch of spaghetti sauce, That's not lasagna then
I love your recipes
I'll bet it smells wonderful! Love that shot of the steam at the end.
I'd call it saucy crockpot pasta. Never call it lasagna. My lasagna is in a 11x18 old lasagna pan with 5 layers of noodles and homemade sauce.
Love your videos!!!!
Might try this so simple
Too much sauce 😊
No seasonings😮 onion or bell pepper.. looks bland.. I can taste it from here! 😢 Sorry
She, “steered it up!”
That looks good.
I would never make my Italian lasagna like that. Cultural appreciation is key for me. I do it the way the Italians taught me how to do it. I keep my dishes 100 or I don't make it at all.
It's great to have the freedom to make yours how you see fit and others can do the same. Enjoy!
I have the very same crockpot. I love it!😃
I don't know why I keep getting these lasagna videos. I don't even like lasagna like that. Oxtails 🇯🇲🇯🇲❤️❤️❤️
Y’all are getting lazier and lazier every day
🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
This is closer to Lasagna soup, but still looks good.
I didn’t know it was possible to get heartburn from watching something 😅
Great value 👏
Sound good 😊
As an Italian I just died and went to hell😳
Ya and that shit is on the menu 24/7. frozen balls, no bones, no pork, no veal.
Scifo spazzatura
American way of cooking-
Not all Americans cook this way. We can actually make things from scratch. I was brought up to use wholesome ingredients from the garden. I do buy frozen veggies and fruit and some canned beans
Oh wow it warmed up
Sounds yummy!!!!❤❤❤❤I WANT SOME!!!!❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂I ❤❤❤❤ ITALIAN& MEXICAN LUNCH& DINNER NIGHTS....🎉🎉🎉🎉
I tried this and it was awful. Better in a baking dish.
@@itscharlesparks a lasagna baking dish. 9x 13 baking dish. I made crockpot lasagna and it was awful.
Looks like my kind of food lol, and looks like something I would eat and make myself lol. I would probably add a ton of cheese or ranch to mine 🤤🤤😂😂
Can I come over for dinner? That looks SO good!!!
This is genius! It just needs at least one more layer of noodles.
A crock pot stews, simmers.
An oven bakes. Lasagna is baked. It isn't "good and juicy" and never includes banana peppers.
This is shit.
More lasagna please👀🙂 I love those meatballs.
Dessert is definitely.... rolaid smoothie flavors and alkaseltzer for heartburn 😅
Everybody’s so creative
I am 100% Italian and you didn’t even season your ricotta cheese with three eggs, salt, pepper, pecorino Romano cheese, and fresh parsley, chopped up!?? but thank you for teaching me a shortcut!!! 🌈🕊🆙🕊🌈
You are right, I live in Italy, I never see Italians cooked like this. God bless Italia and his citizens, they cooked the best.
It's amazing what cooking with fresh ingredients, especially vegetables and peppers, will make your food taste incredible. But "okay"..
Yuk !
😍YUM YUM
This isn’t about cooking, it’s about the ingredients they bought
Quick easy meal for sure. Just a tip…making spaghetti sauce is actually really simple and that way you don’t get that soy bean oil crap they throw in the jarred sauces 😊
If you are going to take the time to make sauce, why would you then throw stuff in a crock pot?
That looked so bad I'm sorry
This is the first time I realize that meat sauce have no visible signs of meat in it. Thanks Great Value.
Will try this 😊
Should've left it on the internet. Mikey will eat anything ... not me. ☺
that actually looks good. I might put more noodles in it.
Looks yummy 🤤😋
That looks delicious!
I cook for large family gatherings, and I go to her channel specifically looking for shortcut meals. If you don't like it, improvise or keep scrolling. I need her to put out a cookbook. I don't have time to make fresh sauce and meatballs. I work as well. I love these videos.

The Aroma from the kitchen must be like a sonata
If not, then you are in a toilet
If you don’t have the time to cook, stay out of the kitchen
I usually add eggs, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and some shredded mozzarella right into the ricotta. For the amount she used one egg is probably fine.
@@clynthia0510 Don't forget the shredded mozzarella in the ricotta. It make the whole dish cheesier throughout .. not just on top. I started doing it that way heading the mozzarella and now I can't not make it that way.
