It is true that most of us fear to convert our goals to reality. When we are in job or business we fear of leaving the job or business as the path ahead is not visible. When we got retirement at around 60, we can not think of moving to tough life of pahad.

most of us are glued here in big cities, with lots of attactions and bad habbits like making fast money using any means,drinking, waisting lots of time on twitter,face book and so on . In Delhi,we are living in gas chamber,no clean water,lots of chemicals in vegetables. You are lucky bro ,you are living in Heaven.God bless the entire family. I'm from Chandigarh...but my in laws are from bazpur District udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand... I have been to mussorie, dehradun,chamoli, Srinagar several times..but zameen lena Abhi tak possible nhi hua.....i hope this year i would be able to buy small piece of land 1 nali in uttarakhand

Dear Luv, Consider building a chicken coop in your homestead to house some hens. Keep them as pets, not for consumption. You can get fresh eggs for one. Chickens are great scavengers to cleanup the insects and bugs if you let them graze free. They work as a great pets just like dogs, if you train them a bit. Material that you lineup the coop makes super nitrogen rich manure to use in vegetable garden. Don't use it on fruit trees, it will burn them. so 4 benefits for a very little investment.
You definitely need a lesson in composting and let me give you the first one. Dig a foot deep hole in the ground, 2x2 or 3x3 as per your convenience. Add you kitchen waste, vegetable scrapes, crushed egg shells etc in. EACH time you add stuff to it, cover it with newspaper scrapes or dry grass and spray water on it for it to not smell. Once full, cover with soil and keep moist. 60 days, you have a compost pile you will be proud of. Good Luck.
