i knew them very well.In 1969 they played at pios lounge in north providence RI.They came over our house for dinner with Richard Barrett their first mgr.At that time it was sheila,Fayette,Valerie.Mom cooked them some italian food they loved.They fell in love with my mom RIP zTeresa.They even took her on tour a few times.I was like a little brother to them and Richard and i got along really good.Heres the kicker Mom passed in 1979.They came to wake in providence RI.Marianis funeral home,ill never forget that the whole family went to him.The 3Degrees gave a 10.000$ check at the wake. Can you beleive that.the greatest girl band ever. Robert Casulla Miami,Fla great memories the best of my life.thanks mom and 3 Degrees.
Well I knew of them from hits like "When Will I See You Again" but that was it. Recently I have discovered them also and I was born in 76. Crazy how in the US they are not promoted as much because they are amazing. I also wish they would do one more performance with Sheila.
These classy ladies love what there doing not like these 2 minute wonders that are only in it for the fame then appear on endless trashy daytime programmes and make appearances on talent shows and reality shows, …..my respect ladies keep up being classy and loving what you do 👌🏻
As a movie buff I have a question-in (almost the opening) sequence of 'The French Connection' (1971), there appears a trio in silver dresses,, in a nightclub, singing 'Everybody's Going to the Moon'... Is that Sheila Ferguson, and are those the Three degrees (once the Prince of Wales' favourite group)...
