Removing wasnt so bad, I could with a combination of 1/4 extension bars remove the fixing bolt, but as I showed in the video it was impossible to put the new sensor in this way. I had to remove the old cooler and fan and the plastic surround. This way it provides better access to both remove the sensor retaining bolt and to also line up the new bolt and sensor. Hope this helps.
Just gone through the video, I did try to film this but couldn't. In the end I removed the intercooler and fan and the intercooler surround. The same method to replace the starter. Once you have the intercooler out of the way, its much easier to get to. Hope this helps.
It's a pain to get to, but I think it might be the crankshaft position sensor. When I had the same fault my car wouldnt start properly, unitl I changed the sensor. @@GiuseppeFugale
When the motor turns nut wont start can this be the problem?
Hi. How do you unplug the sensor and reconnect it. I am finding it difficult to disconnect it. Would appreciate help. Thank you
Is the position the same in the Smart 453?
You did not show the Most important. How did you remove the old sensor and how you put back the new one

Car now start or it's a starter motor problem and the error code are a coincidence?
