it's one of the best. Aside the character shuffling about, cursor circling and movements, or even text commentary. These truly are one of the best commentaries for introverts 😁
I'm two hours in and am watching this like some Netflix special. I played this game years ago and I'm fascinated to learn just by watching this, so many more efficient ways of doing things. And I love that there's a "story" - the player doesn't stay in one place, but has all these definite goals in mind and progresses efficiently. I also like that unlike another longplay I started watching, the sound effects aren't too loud.
Finally a video with no commentary. I did try to play Terraria many years ago, with a group of friends who convinced me to play. I really liked the game, but couldnt play much. My friends already knew the game by heart and were playing every evening until night. So everytime i came back, they already did a bunch of stuff. "Oh take this huge flame sword" - "how did you obtain it ?" -"well we got it after killing a big eye ball boss" -"... a what ?". And shortly after i stopped playing, i was too frustrated to not understand anything and not going on my pace. But anyway, i'm just glad to found a good video of terraria, may be i'll understand a bit more of what to actually do in this game, thanks for your video ! +1
@@blizzard0199 Thanks that is very nice from you ! @@jeanmoncul7323 Your comment is very well thought out, I would be happy to answer! -The hammer can be used to reshape individual blocks in terraria. The shapes vary from triangles to squares to rectangles. I wanted the ground to be flat, so thats why I used the hammer. -Coins are used as a currency in the game. I mainly used them to purchase ammo, buy upgrades, or reforge my gear to get the modifier that I'm looking for. -After building a house, you can check to see if it is habitable (see 11:14). After you know it is habitable, you click the NPC/PNJ face and then click on the house. I believe they move in at night time when they are off screen. Sometimes takes a while and I dont know exactly how it works. -NPCs/PNJs are useful for many things - particularly buying useful items. The arms dealer is good to get ammo. The nurse is useful in healing. The dryad is useful to provide defense buffs. The goblin tinker is very important because he can reforge your gear to get different modifiers, making your gear better. -Not all resources make weapons and armor - some of them are important in making potions which help make you more effective at fighting bosses. To see what each item is used in, I recommend checking out terraria.fandom.com/wiki/Terraria_Wiki -Going underground is very important in this game. You can find heart crystals that increase your health. You can find lots of materials that are useful in gear upgrades. You can go all the way to the underworld to fight the wall of flesh which brings the world into hardmode, completely changing the game. -Corruption spreads and eliminates other biomes. I limit the corruption because I dont want biomes to be wiped out because certain items and materials can only be found it certain biomes. Also, the angler fishing tasks are sometimes biome specific. I contain the corruption so that I have all the biomes. This is important even more so in hard mode. -I would say the "main" goal in terraria is to progress and upgrade your gear/character to make yourself stronger to ultimately defeat the moon lord (final boss that you can see in the next video). However, its not required that you do this. You can instead focus more on building impressive creations. its really up to you. After defeating the final boss, the world continues on, so there isn't really and "end" but you become so powerful that nothing can stand in your way. I hope these answers are helpful. Hey! Absolutely love throwing on no commentary gameplay in the background while im editing, this one is great! Could I use this one as B-roll for a video about how terraria is a masterpiece?
One of the reasons i'm holding back on getting this game is that I read that every time you build a house or similar some random punk will take up squatting in it whilst away adventuring. Is there a way to disable or deal with these pesky peasants? (Yes, the introvert in me even extends to lines of code getting under my feet)
Sure, you can simply remove one of the required piece of the house for it to be habitable! Like a chair or table or wall background. Or you can make a separate house for the npc and direct them to live there instead.
Hello! I translated your comment (from Portuguese?): “I started playing Terraria recently, and this gameplay helped me a lot. Great video” Thank you for the kind comment. Glad the video helped!
Great question! I assigned the npcs to the rooms like you would a normal house and then I believe they enter it when the area is off screen. Unsure on how long it takes, just know it happens eventually.

great question! That is the favorite function. By using it, it prevents my items from being placed into a chest when I click the store all function. Essentially I use it to mark all the items I want to keep in my inventory permanently/until I get an upgraded item.
@@blizzard0199 Ah I see, cool! How do I enable that/toggle that? I tried searching online but I can't find it. Thanks! Edit: I think it might be holding alt and then clicking, I havn't tried it yet though.

Hello!, I had a question about the copyright claim for this video. I would love to use your gameplay for a video of mine, but just making sure about the copyright claim of this video and please respond to this comment.
I assume you’re referring to placing diagonal wooden platforms. I press control to toggle auto placement mode, the click them in a diagonal. I think it’s the same button you use to auto dig using a pickaxe.
To use a furnace you have to have metal ore (copper, tin, silver, iron, gold, tungsten) in your inventory. I think 3-4 ore makes a bar. To use it, just open the crafting menu while standing near the furnace.

Thank you for the kind comment. Glad the video helped!
Question, I haven't watched the video throughouly but how did the NPCs get into their room capsules without a proper entrance?
Great question! I assigned the npcs to the rooms like you would a normal house and then I believe they enter it when the area is off screen. Unsure on how long it takes, just know it happens eventually.
Great video!, I absolutely love terraria, and play it on ps4!. You seem like you would be fun to play terraria with!, I'd definitely play with you if i got the chance!. Good video! . . 😇💙 P s: I also have it on steam! .
Thanks for the nice comment! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I have an idea More subscribers for this guy (btw I am your 220th subscriber). You deserve 1k subs, what seed did you use
Hi Jesse, thanks for the kind comment!
If you want to see the seed, please look at 1:21 in the video. Let me know if you have more questions!
@@blizzard0199ok I'll let you know if I have questions.

12:27 what is the star cursor? What is it used for? I am kinda new to Terraria. Thanks!
great question!
@@edwardferrari7342 I used alt and click!
@@blizzard0199 Thanks so much!
Damn bro is smooth with it
Haha thanks!
terreria is a good game i like that game
yes it is!

Thank you! I translated your comment from Portuguese to say roughly: "great video good partner".
@@blizzard0199 Oh, yes yes, I'm a big fan of this game, and seeing someone with gameplay like that fascinates me, I'm from Brazil, thanks for spreading Terraria around. Keep up your videos 💕
whats the point of hitting those blocks with the hammer in 1:03:08 ?
Good question! I am removing the background dirt wall so that I can place my own wall/make it look nicer.
Bro didn't die once that's impressive
Haha thank you! It helps that I wasn’t playing on expert or master mode 😅
Hello is it ok to get your permission to use this video as a backround to one of my upcoming videos?
Hi there, yes you may as long as you give me credit by linking my channel in the video description and tag me here when you post the video :)
@@blizzard0199 oh yes of course, I will put your link in the description, thank you very much
Dude just solo two bosses without a sweat 💀
Haha that’s the first time that’s happened to me! It was fun!
I have four bosses
I'm using this for an edit if that's good
sure! as long as you give me credit :)
did you actually play for i hours straight or did you take breaks in between?
Good question! I did take breaks, I just merged all the videos into one.
@@blizzard0199 ohh smart !
Why didn't you upgrade your mana?
Great question! In this longplay I decided that I was going to use only ranged damage. So I saved the stars in case I wanted to use them as ammo for the star launcher ranged weapon!
@@blizzard0199 So ranger instead of mage, makes sense.
@@blizzard0199 Still replying to comments after a year. What a legend.
Of course! I don’t get too many comments so I try to reply to them all :)

why does it kinda look similar to my seed?

1:03.54 "How the f*** did you not die?"
I guess stars don’t hurt players anymore! I think they just hurt enemies haha. I was definitely surprised I didn’t take damage.
11:41 that looks like mine except mine has corruption
9:01:59 where is music?
❤❤❤❤❤
Hey, what is the seed of the world?
Hi there! The seed can be found at the beginning of the video. I think at the 1:12 mark.
@@blizzard0199Thx! :)
I've beat this before
How do you feel after you play 9 hours=)
Good! I took breaks, you just can’t tell!
how do u place stair so fast?
I assume you’re referring to placing diagonal wooden platforms. I press control to toggle auto placement mode, the click them in a diagonal. I think it’s the same button you use to auto dig using a pickaxe.
@@blizzard0199 thank u so much it helps me a lot
@@DianaHoneyBee youre welcome! happy to help!
I started playing this on PS4, I can’t even get past the tutorial
What do you need help with?
@@blizzard0199 idk how to use the furnace on the PS4 version, and I’m in a tutorial world
To use a furnace you have to have metal ore (copper, tin, silver, iron, gold, tungsten) in your inventory. I think 3-4 ore makes a bar. To use it, just open the crafting menu while standing near the furnace.
@@blizzard0199 okay, thank you
You’re welcome! Let me know if you need more help!
Good
Thanks!
Bro done 18 to 19 hors of gameplay altogether💀💀💀
It took a while haha! Hope you enjoyed!
How many GBs???
If you’re asking about video size, I don’t remember exactly! I think it was somewhere around 10-20GB
@@blizzard0199 oh that's not bad at all for a 9 hour of footage
Yeah not too bad! The file format I use tends to make smaller files on OBS
That’s 9:34:17 bro😮
