Manning your post With Apostle Opi |Tuesday Communion Service | 2nd July 2024
THINGS TO NOTE
Everybody has a post, you were born for a post.
Do you know your post? Do you understand your post? You need to know and effectively manage your post. (1 Cor 12:4-5)Have you found your post? It is foolishness to man the wrong goalpost.
HOW TO KNOW YOUR POST
• You must have a secret place and stay there until God shows you your post. You must depend on the Holy Ghost.
• You must be ready to serve in every capacity. (Acts 13:36). Mature in your walk with God. You manifest a gift that is visible to people. You can't die carelessly when you are manning a post.
• You must consider faithfulness because God rewards faithfulness. (1 Cor 4:2) Faithfulness is showing up consistently. He gives you more work when you are faithful.
• Guard against distractions, they give the enemy access to you. If you don't know your God you can leave your assignment.(Neh 6:3-4;Prov 4:23)
• Encourage one another/support one another. (Heb 10:24). Encouragement strengthens us. If you are a leader, lead by example. How do you communicate? your communication means a lot. Do not be judgemental. D0 what is right rather than the easy part. celebrate one another.
• Recognize that manning your post is a spiritual battle. Know your post and fight to remain there. There may be challenges on the post but stay there and fight.
• Remember that there is a reward because God rewards stewardship.( Matt 25:21)When we man our post diligently, we honor God. Empathy helps us to manage our posts.
