and of course Pierre Trudeau was about 47 years old when he started to become interested in 18 year old Margaret .
    Which is pretty sick

The switch from Keynesian to Neo Liberalism is the short answer .
One of the first acts of Neo Liberalism occurred in 1974 , when Pierre Trudeau privatized how the federal government borrows money . In that year , our federal debt was $18 billion . Today its $1.2 trillion .
Pierre set up investment with China . So the deal goes , the Laurentian Elites and QPP have investments in China ,
they get to increase their investments . In exchange , the country Justin admires the most , get other parts of Canada at bargain basement prices .
      .

I don't believe in labels like "Best PM" or anything like that. The term "best" is based on opinion, and that differs from person to person. For example someone may prefer Louis St Laurent to Trudeau or may even think Mr. Harper is better. I'm not saying that its not alright to have an opinion, simply that statements such as these are based on opinion and nothing more.

@@tomgibson6801Canadian historians and political scientists would. Harper wasn't the best, and by far from the worst. Mid ranking PM.
Reduced the GST. Pulled Canada through the 2008 crisis. His Federal action plan which gave $16 billion to infrastructure kickstarted a lot of the walking/bike paths we now see in Canadian cities.
The Iraq war and a few other negatives will keep him from being a top tier PM.

Treadeau was a great prime minister, but I’ll never understand the Canadian justice system. In 1970 a group of thugs kidnapped two government officials in Quebec and murdered one of them, Pierre Laporte, by strangulation, stuffing his body in a car trunk. Three of Laporte’s killers were caught and imprisoned for 5, 10, and 11 years, and then released. Man, c’nooks are weird. I’m regarded as liberal, but if the U.S. ever got that pathetically weak with criminals I’d become a terrorist myself.

      Suggest looking into Pierre Trudeau's marxist background . He went to China in 1949 , 1960 , 1972(?) , 1989 .
He accepted an invitation the Soviet Union in 1952 visited there at least one other time .
How many trips did he make to see Castro ?

This little Prime Minister of Canada knew everything about the F.L.Q, all the names of the members of the F.L.Q and where they were. They knew very well where Pierre Laporte (who died accidentally) was and he could have saved Pierre Laporte very easily. They let the FLQ do what they wanted, to make the Parti Québécois look bad, because the Parti Québécois was the real target of Ottawa and Washington with the help of the RCMP and the CIA, English Canada and the USA does not want Quebec to separate, because they think it will be a communist country and they will lose control over the St. Lawrence Seaway. Moreover, everyone knows the federal government of Canada, does not know what each province needs and how to solve the problems of each province of Canada and the Canadian government is the best to make deficits. This is the pure truth, since the Canadian archives have been opened on this hypocritical and racist period of the Pierre-Elliot Trudeau government. Just read « La république assassinée de Daniel Johnson » to see the truth.
