I am a beginer/intermediate artist... and have watched well over 500 UA-cam videos, looking for good teachers... You are a very good TEACHER! Not to mention, of course, an EXCELLENT artist!!! So many other artists w/UA-cam videos, don't really give us step by step...this video really helped me! and you don't "talk too much" which I really appreciate! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this, and helping us!

Hi Cynthia! I answered this at the time but as I changed my channel name, all my answers got erased... So I am answering it again for people joining the conversation later :) I use mainly Pro Arte Prolene + 007 and I also like Princeton Neptune round brushes.

I loved your delicate technique, are you using Payne's Grey hue for preliminary shadows?

Thank you :) I don't use any ready-made greys at all, I mix all my own, using different colours depending on the painting.
