It’s interesting why this matters. We all know it’s a cartoon, but we still want to have suspension of disbelief where the viewer has to ignore the reality that they are viewing a staged performance and temporarily accept it as their reality in order to be entertained.

I'm a musician with 8 instruments I practice on rotation, and my immediate goal for this spring is to start flight school with the goal of being a commercial pilot. This comment made me feel good about my life choices lol
This hurts as a sax player For every note He played, He fingered 3 different things (wrong ofcourse) Not to mention his weird swaying and the lack of a neckstrap. And just generally the idea of someone going on stage While I’m performing who just Steal my instrument is nightmare fuel. Also He didn’t “upstage” him at all, he just played the end a lil louder than the other guy was playing, it wasn’t impressive at all. And you don’t simply grab another persons saxophone and play it perfectly, since it’s a somewhat customized setup he first needs to at least identify in his mind while playing. Sax player here - Quagmire’s tone is noticeably worse; it’s much more shrill and comparatively uncontrolled. I think it’s funny that they make it sort of obvious that he’s still a little out of his element and just trying to show off without the serious qualification. Also he’s got worse rhythm/time and articulation. And of course he completely butchers the dynamics as well when he takes the horn 😂
