That last minute or so is absolutely amazing, I can’t think of any other vocalist who could do that continuous belting so well live. Floor is a once in a generation talent.
Lovely reaction! Really enjoying your journey as a reactor and also with Nightwish. Tuomas is a big believer in leaving the interpretation of his lyrics up to the listener so it is not always clear what their meaning is but that tends to lead to a lot of unfounded speculation. I use the same strategy that I do with my divorced parents. I ignore the speculation and negative stories and stay focused on the fact that I love both of them and all the wonderful music they have given me.
This is such a great way to put it. Couldn't have said it better. I totally agree and use the same approach. Incidentally, my parents are also divorced so I know how it feels to be in that position.
Darnit.. just now found you in the UA-cams! Reporting from the Nightwish Army Texas division, loved your reaction and congrats on learning the band member names. Can't wait to see what other bands you react to also. Subscribed for more content.
Hi Horizala, so pleased you listened to us with regards to not skipping. Your reactions are a real pleasure to watch now! This (for me) is the best live version of any of the three singers. It was written for Tarja to sing, but Floor takes it to another level. In the outro, she sings the tune despite the key change, whereas Tarja sings the descant line instead. Extremely impressive I have to say! Take care xx
🤩👌💥💯 The hopefulness shines through the song musically is what hits your soft spots in a charming way. Nice nice reaction Horizala. And keep on rockin with this magical band since you hopped on a pleasent ride with them... 🤘😎 🇫🇮 💙
Ever Dream is so beautiful. Nightwish is beautiful. The lyrics in this song can so easily give me tears.. Thanks so much for the nice reaction. It´s the closest thing to reliving it for first time
I have listened to almost every album that Nightwish has made over the last 4 years, and I have enjoyed every song. Tuomas Holopainen is an absolute genius!
Though I love that song, I don't think that gives an idea of how good Marko is. It's a very laid back song for the most part; he showcases his talent much more in other songs, and not only with Nightwish.
Yes ....all systems are a go .....you got it straighten out .......Floor and Marko killing it in this one and Floor is another stratosphere at the end .....no wonder she says its one of her toughest songs to do .
Floor is making it _look_ easy, but I've read that this was, by far, the hardest song for her to sing because it's so high. She's fantastic! The whole band so so damn amazing, impressive in every way... and yes that includes previous members, too!
Try High Hopes from the End of An Era tour in 2005, which was the night that they let Tarja go after the show. Marco sings the lead, while Tarja is doing a costume change, and it is one of the most brilliant and emotional live performances that I have ever seen.
Msrco the Magnificent. Yes hr has some pipes. He can also sing softly, gently. Best Marco? High Hopes from Hartwall Arena 2005. The Islander from Tampere While Your Lips Are Still Red from Wembley Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean from Buenos Aires Ghost River from Wacken And of course his do album, Pyre of the Black Heart, try The Voice of My Father.. Nice reaction. No, thete is no bad Nightwish song. Thank you.
AWESOME reaction! Right on the mark! I know I'm a broken record, but highly recommend reacting to the band Floor's husband, Hannes, is the drummer for, Sabaton. They are a totally unique band, all of the songs are drawn from history (and the songs all have the lyrics as closed captions). For a starter song, I recommend "No Bullets Fly (Animated Story Video)". You won't be disappointed! Much love and respect from the Nightwish Army Kentucky Division!
Tuomas never wrote really bad songs. But he too had to learn and first find his own style. Many old songs are "normal". At this concert, Nightwish has existed for about 15 years and many good songs have accumulated. That's why there are no bad ones.
Marko Hietala (pron: HEE-ah-Tallah) is a classically trained guitarist, bassist, songwriter and incredible vocalist both solo and in harmony. It's not on the list Gabriel gave you...but a must hear for any Nightwish fan...the band does a tribute to Pink Floyd with the song High Hopes, live, End Of An Era 2005. Marko delivers a haunting and powerful vocal performance that will better show you what he can do. And from that same concert, check out Phantom of the Opera with Marko and Tarja (pron: TAR-ee-yuh)...its pretty special!
The drummer name is pronounced You-kah. No worries. Floor has commented that this ending chorus is maybe the most difficult song to sing due to the prolonged high belting. Much better job on this reaction Horizala. Well done. I loved it! 🤘🤘
Great reaction again my young friend! I love the way you break down the tune. If anyone hasn't told you yet, the drummer's name is pronounced U-KA. Just love your reactions. Welcome to the Nightwish Army, please stay healthy and safe, cheers from Chicago, and you have a devout sub. 🤘🤘🤘
Floor has said this song is the hardest workout in the Nightwish repertoire- She just makes it LOOK effortless. And now she does BOTH vocal part. Good reaction!
I think the blown away comes with all the different styles Floor does in all the Nightwish songs. This song is great but kinda straight forward. To get more of an idea on Nightwish maybe start with Ghost Love Score. Then Romanticide, Yours is an empty hope, Everdream, Slow love slow, Devil and the deep dark ocean, Slaying the dreamer, Song of myself, Poet and the pendulum, While your lips are still red, Tribal, Shoemaker. To even see more versatility of Floor check out stuff from her first bands Revamp-Disdain or After Forever-Energize me. She also sang great covers of Phantom of the Opera, Shallow and even Frozen songs. I personally love the ending of Everdream, where Floor blows away everything, the band with an insane double bass drumming by Jukka and 82,000 fans.
Despite the epicness of Ghost Love Score, Greatest Show..., or Dark Chest Of Wonders, I'd prefer introducing people to Nightwish through Everdream, as it showcases Floor's vocals so well, _and_ introduces Marco's vocal talents, as well as feeling more "pop" than metal - which is a great way to gradually introduce non-metalheads to metal music.
I agree! I love when it’s Everdream that introduces a new listener to Marco’s vocals for the first time. Such an excellent starting point to go down the Marco rabbit hole within the overall Nightwish rabbit hole. For more with Marco (as lead): - The Islander (live at Tampere) - High Hopes (Pink Floyd cover) - While Your Lips Are Still Red
This song isn't about Tarja. Tuomas and Tarja weren't an item. They grew up together in a small town. Even before Nightwish, Tarja was singer and Tuomas was instrumentalist both in school. In the songs after the firing of Tarja, what he mentions having lost was the formation and tight-knit nature of the band. There were many conflicts when Tarja started dating her current husband and this led to her getting into whatever caused the pre-emptive reason that Tuomas and the band fired her. Tarja was leaving Nightwish a year later regardless. In the song "Bye, Bye, Beautiful" the words make it clear that the band kept trying to tell her that she wasn't doing enough of her job. In "Master, Passion, Greed" - aimed at Tarja's husband - it describes him as trying to damaging Tarja's position in the band. What's more accurate is that at the time Tuomas wanted a singer who'd devote all their time to the band. In fact, Anette was also partially bothered by the band when personal issues unrelated to "practice, practice, practice" came into play. Anette also wasn't prepared for the high volume of shows and ended up hospitalized a lot. Tuomas would eventually get married as would others in the band, and they grew used to having to fit in personal lives. The band as a whole generally regards each other as siblings (for better or worse). The song has been adapted a few times. Originally written for an early Nightwish album (Century Child I think) all Nightwish singers have sung it and made changes to it.
With Floor in the band, songs switched from relationship focus to nature, science and social issues. Both Tuomas and Floor grew up wanting to be biologists…..
Would advise listening and commenting also to Anette Olzon and Tarja Turunen, former NW female vocalists, same song, same band, different approach both ladies .....
Hey, you should definitely check out Nightwish scaretale with Annette Olzen live show and live show with Floor Jansen in in 2012 Helsinki festival, awesome thanks requesting 🔥😎
I would not say better - it is very different. Consign to Oblivion is much, much heavier but not as tight a composition as a Nightwish song. It’s just a different experience altogether!
That last minute or so is absolutely amazing, I can’t think of any other vocalist who could do that continuous belting so well live. Floor is a once in a generation talent.
Wonder Floor is one of a kind!
Nightwish Army UK popping in for a great reaction. Nope there are no bad nightwish songs :)
Excellent reaction , This one was right on the mark hence no skipping and correct speed , TY this was fun
Nice job, like your reaction....thanks for that from germany
i was at this concert
We’ll done, - no speed issues with this one. Great reaction!
your reactions getting better and better. let them come girl :)

great,, glad you ironed out the miner problems you where having earlier.
Bravo Horizala, this reaction was great! I can't wait for your next reactions, thank you! Keep going and keep rocking! 🤘🏻

You nailed this one! Ty 🙏
This was a great reaction, you are getting better each time! 🙂 Thank you so much
Ever Dream is so beautiful. Nightwish is beautiful. The lyrics in this song can so easily give me tears.. Thanks so much for the nice reaction. It´s the closest thing to reliving it for first time
Hi Nightwish fan here that i love so much from Nightwish you never know how the song will go for me is every song a trip to heaven
OK Girl now you Got It ! well done !
Always awesome seeing new reactors. Awesome job, keep up the good work. I discovered Nightwish by watching reaction videos. Doing great!
Great Job. Loved it! looking forward to many more. You're not going to be disappointed.
Another fun reaction Thank you for your time
Your getting better and better with each video, and that says a lot about you
Floor can flip in and out of Head/chest voice at will. In the middle of a line, in the middle of a word. She and Marko blend together so well.
Your video editing a lot better than 90% of other youtubers
Wow thank you ❤️
Your best one yet, you smashed it, really looking forward to the rest of your journey 🤘
Awesome reaction, greets from Finland, subbed!
I have listened to almost every album that Nightwish has made over the last 4 years, and I have enjoyed every song. Tuomas Holopainen is an absolute genius!
you have no idea how good Marko is until see his solo "The Islander" live at Tampere, one of my favorites. thanks for the reaction from Colorado
Though I love that song, I don't think that gives an idea of how good Marko is. It's a very laid back song for the most part; he showcases his talent much more in other songs, and not only with Nightwish.
I concur, The Islander does sound good, but I personally think "The Voice of My Father" showcases him better.
Yes ....all systems are a go .....you got it straighten out .......Floor and Marko killing it in this one and Floor is another stratosphere at the end .....no wonder she says its one of her toughest songs to do .
Nice job! Your videos are getting better each time. Check out their heavier side now, with Romanticide from this show. Enjoy your Nightwish journey!
What an absolute banger this is, lovely reaction Horizala.
I love you horizala

Nightwish is awesome and Floor is an Angel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great reaction

Awesome. 🔥🔥🔥🔥maybe Romanticide (Wacken 2013) next? That is a whole other different type of love song. 🤘
NAILED IT! nice job. 👍👍

you can never go wrong when listening to Nightwish with Floor on vocals. So great.
I love your reactions when something new happens.👍
good reaction!
Floor has said this song is the hardest workout in the Nightwish repertoire- She just makes it LOOK effortless. And now she does BOTH vocal part. Good reaction!
That was before Shoemaker😅
@@puarterquonder Of course- I should have said "the old repertoire"

Good one.
Great job 😊👍

That or Storytime
they tend to be more accessible to a wider group of people, without being as intimidating length-wise
I agree. Ever dream or Storytime

No disrespect to the new bassist and Troy (who is great as her backup on some) I miss Marko! Good reaction darling🌹
Nailed pronouncing Tuomas 👍
Thanks
by the way, Floor stands 6 feet, 1 & 1/2 inches tall in bare feet, and was wearing 5 inch heels here
No, there are no bad Nightwish songs, only different, from something reminiscent of folk song, to classical to the all-heavy metal.
Thank you for actually reacting to the song instead of just letting it play and saying wow lol 😅
For Floor their technically most difficult song according to their own statement.
👍👍👍🇳🇱✌✌✌
If you like Emppu's guitar, you should do Romanticide. 🙂
I will! My next one for sure
With Floor in the band, songs switched from relationship focus to nature, science and social issues. Both Tuomas and Floor grew up wanting to be biologists…..
True, but I think the biggest credit goes to Troy , who introduced Tuomas to "some" reading material about these subjects ;)
Would advise listening and commenting also to Anette Olzon and Tarja Turunen, former NW female vocalists, same song, same band, different approach both ladies .....
if you want to learn singing, on her personal chanel on YT, she give masterclass ( 4 if i remember )
Hey, you should definitely check out Nightwish scaretale with Annette Olzen live show and live show with Floor Jansen in in 2012 Helsinki festival, awesome thanks requesting 🔥😎
This song does make your soul turn mylady, does it not? Mylady
check out Epica - consign to oblivion live zenith, it is like nightwish but even better
I would not say better - it is very different. Consign to Oblivion is much, much heavier but not as tight a composition as a Nightwish song. It’s just a different experience altogether!
Try doing Ad Infinitum unstoppable
Many older Nightwish songs are about love. But there is no reliable evidence that Tuomas was in love with Tarja
Great job- jukka is pronounced Yukka with a Y
Thank you for letting me know!
I love Jukka's drumming style.
There are something like 5 of their songs I don’t like, but bad, no there are no bad Nightwish songs.
Yours is an empty hope
Nope, no bad Nightwish songs. Even the bad Nightwish songs are great, lol.
4:40 NO!!
ok you can now graduate to Epica anything live is great dive in Unleashed live offical is ok
DarHi check out Dark Chest Of Wonders!!!!!
While Floor is a fantastic singer, the original version by Tarja can't be beat for its ethereal tones.
If you want to hear something completely different from Marko, also a very versatile singer: ua-cam.com/video/5V7PKv493Ic/v-deo.html
HI!!! sry!
if you enjoy guitar then try asian girl band LOVEBITES
You have a pretty face....no offense intended !
Tarja best
Флор супер, талант, одаренность, но я люблю Тарью! Прости Флор.....
