    In this tutorial, we will continue to explore field-driven aggregation, focusing on surface-based fields. We will learn how to create a field based on surface distance, as well as to split field values according to geometric relationships (is the point above or below the surface) and assign different values to areas of the field. As an example, we will use an aggregation with simple units mimicking a modular urban agglomeration.

    Wow it has truly got much more difficult from this lesson. But really helpful, thank you!

      Yeah, this requires a bit more of Grasshopper skills :)
      Will try to make some new components in the future to make it simpler...

    this is a amazing and very useful plug-in. Thank you for your tutorials. But I just wonder why a problem comes to me and it says "could not compute a valid collider geometry.Please provide a valid colider in the COLL input."

    • @TempAutonArch
      @TempAutonArch  Місяць тому

      That is because your geometry might be too complex or there might be some issue with it. You can always create the Collider manually in Rhino, by creating a small inward offset of your part geometry and adding that in the COLL input of the Part component.

      @@TempAutonArch Thank you for your help. My geometry is just a box and I think it might be the surface which is too complex. Wish you a nice day.

      @@TempAutonArch I just figured out this problem. I watched your tutorial again and I got to know that to fix this situation, just reduce the value of field points resolution. Thanks again😊

    it is amazing, loved it! but, andrea, i m curious about how can we rotate those blocks according to surface's angle? this is what i need asap

    • @TempAutonArch
      @TempAutonArch  3 роки тому

      uhm, that is not possible directly. If you want to achieve something similar, you should first define your connections with different angles, in order to be able to have rotations. But still, there is no easy way to make the angles follow the surface. You would need to think of a way to encode the angular deviation in a field, but I am not sure how that could be achieved easily...

    hola tu me podrías ayudar tengo un problema con el código wasp el componente de wasp_field-driven agregación no me esta funcionando y siempre se ve color naranja así este bien conectado como podría solucionarlo

      What is the error message that you get in the message ballon on the top right corner of the component? This would be helpful to understand what is causing your problem.

      Hi,
      if you are new to Wasp, you can watch the whole Wasp#101 tutorial series, where I start from the basics and build up to this example: ua-cam.com/play/PLCn3-_9Z4-E5A0EFluiMldlEbDufMiN1g.html
      if you are new to Grasshopper, there are a lot of tutorials out there explaining the basics of the interface and of the program itself. A good starting point is the tutorial series by David Rutten: vimeopro.com/rhino/grasshopper-getting-started-by-david-rutten
