This video alone shows the care put into this line. I had no idea how damaging my removal process was until now. I saw the results but couldn't figure out why my edges were suffering so much. This was hugely educational and really makes me trust the brand. And a lot of that has to do with the fact that they are very clear about the hazards and how to take care of yourself. Idk this was helpful and refreshing even as someone who hasn't purchased from this company yet. But I definitely will be now.
I'm not completely bald due to the complications of Lupus but I love Bold hold..I don't UA-cam alot but the product came across my Walmart page and then I came on here and found you Thank God.I to was using alcohol it took all my few baby hair out..Thank you all for the products I'm a Huge fan plus I have to wear wigs and I prefer lacewigs even though I was Blessed with talent to do my own hair in any style from braids to making my own pixie cut yet my entire crown is gone never to return. Hats off to you, my darling lady! I've been wearing hair for years, and didn't learn anything until The LORD led me to you on YT. Your knowledge and demeanor are incomparable. TYVM. Much love, well-deserved success.
Spray the remover and message it in. Let the remover sit. After the wig has loosened, remove the wig. Use shampoo on a dampened cloth to remove the glue residue from the skin. Use water to remove the Liquid Gold.
I’m more than sure I’ve lost the hair and/or thinned my edges out because of the alcohol. I used to scrub with a hard rag trynna get all that glue off but that’s my fault, I’m impatient. This video definitely helped a lot. Thank you. -forever a customer

Ouuu I got this, I’m subscribed and I watch your videos religiously! I’m going to take my time with this loool😊 Read all of it y’all !!! *Steps on how to remove Bold Hold Lace glue from your lace unit* Step 1: Leave the alcohol alone. DO NOT use alcohol to remove any Bold Hold Products. Alcohol + rubbing can cause tares and irritation on your skin. Don’t damage your skin. Step 2: Grab your Bold Hold Lace Remover. Step 3: Spray the Bold Hold Lace remover ONLY on the very front of your lace unit where the glue is (keep your head back so you don’t end up with solvent on your face or in your eyes). Don’t drench your head, but put a good thick layer so it can get to working fast. Step 4: DO NOT scrub, scratch or pick at the solvent and glue .. JUST LET IT SIT for a couple minutes until you’re able to gently lift the lace off of your head (if you applied your glue properly, evenly and you let it dry properly .. there won’t be a lot of left over glue on your lace). Step 5: Remove the lace up off your skin gently (if you find it’s not coming up easily, let the Bold Hold Remover sit for a few more minutes until it’s ready) Don’t rip your hair out, peach fuzz and all. Step 6: Grab a towel, some water and shampoo. Wet a side of the towel and put some shampoo on it and go ahead and rub that on the excess glue on your hairline, alternate rubbing between the shampoo part of the towel and dry part of the towel so you can see your progress. DON’T be too rough just take your time until all of the glue is removed. Step 7: Spray a little Bold Hold Remover on your lace if there is a little excess glue. Then grab a dry trowel and ROLL the glue off with the dry towel. Then go ahead and wash the lace with shampoo and the rest of the glue will break down and wash off. And there you have it. Edges won’t be snatched, lace won’t be ripped🥰

Thank you baby girl because I use alcohol and it burnt the side of my Edge where the skin came off and it was my first time putting my lace front on by myself so I decided to go on UA-cam channels to find out how to remove the lace front and the glue off my skin the shampoo was perfect the glue came right off and it didn't irritate my skin but you can see a little spot where it burnt from the alcohol so I will pass that on for whoever's putting on lace fronts to not use alcohol imma call you queen of saving edges all lace fronts truly my savior

She's telling the truth people I can agree with her because I'm one of those people that continuously used the alcohol on my lace front wigs to remove them and after a while it was burning so bad and I now realize that that is exactly what I have been doing all along like she said I don't know if you call it a tear or what because I couldn't see anything but it sure as hell burned and by the way I have no hair I suffer from alopecia and I have for years I'm going with sis on this one

Thank you so much! You’re amazing and you always answer on Instagram. You know your stuff. You just saved me so much frustration and money because I could not get the bold hold active off ,y skin and I kept spraying the remover. You really saved me money on the remover because it’s just to separate the wig from the skin and then I used the shampoo method for me skin. Thank you so much!! I will always support you! And you actually care about the people using your products.
I am the person that gets the irritation really bad from just the smallest rub. I scrub my edges and that is terrible. So I love this video because I'm not patient with glue. I needed to hear this because taking care of hair is important.
Thank you so much for this video! I would've definitely taken it off incorrectly lol. I also love the story about your "why" because oftentimes brands for black women just care about profits. Will continue to support this line, wish you more blessings!
I’m so happy you uploaded this because I was definitely one of those who used alcohol because the remover makes my skin break out from too much grease on top of my already oily skin. I just need to be patient with the removing process.
I had my first frontal lace install and I’m very tender headed!!! The young lady was so rough and the Vellus hairs were being lifted up slowly (as she trimmed the excess lace) and she commented to the other stylists and a client, how extreme she thought I was being and how sensitive my skin is!!! Such a RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL sista hairstylist!! I want that breed of hairstylist ATTITUDE eliminated from the beauty industry. I’ve met so many ignorant hairstylists, that I keep my hair natural and rarely step foot in a salon (because I’m tender headed) and meet the worse stylists here in St. Louis, MO.
Thank you for showing us, man I’ve been doing everything wrong by following these UA-cam tutorials and they done mess up my hairline😫 now how can I get your products from Switzerland?
I'd love to review the new Bold Hold Lace Gelly! The proper steps for removing the glue are: NO ALCOHOL TO REMOVE 😂 spray on the bold hold remover (it includes a natural solvent that dissolves the glue) and let it sit. This allows the glue to melt off easily and saves your peach fuzz 😏
Thank You 🙏🏾this video was super helpful for a beginner like me🥰it’s definitely a follow and purchase from me thank You 🙏🏾 for being honest slow patient and very Very thorough May God continue to Bless you stay safe
Yassss bc I just knew this was her own hair, until she removed it,👀 huni I even took a screenshot so I can show my stylist that I desire to be melted like this 😌🙌🏼😍
Wow ur video is so informative I needed that knowledge for myself I have thin fine hair looking for some info and just happened to run across your video
TheHair Diagram that’s understandable. Can you pleaseeee list what you use to bleach knots? I’m about to purchase on Amazon and follow your steps from the video
Thank you for the information! I’ve never considered using shampoo to remove residue on the skin! I’ll be purchasing the gelly when it’s available! Liquid gold has been my favorite product drop so far 🥰
When I apply my wigs and I want to get the excess glue off what should I use? I was using the lace remover at first but like you said it’s a solvent so I noticed a few pieces of my lace lifting.
Hello i am going to Jamaica i dont want the braids what do you recommend to glue down my lace sew in waterproof for 4 days i dont want my hair to fall off lol i have the BOLD HOLD ACTIVE. NEVER USED before.
Spray the remover and let it chill for a sec to absorb and loosen the wig. Then use shampoo on a damn cloth to remove residue left and use water for the Liquid gold. 🤗🙂 @KibiBrown
I suffer from scarring alopecia(staph infection) and I've learned so much from you. I suffer from hair loss and it won't grow back so wigs are a must for me. Thank you for taking the time to EXPLAIN things!
I appreciate this video sooooo much and i'm learning so much from you. It was good to hear your story and get to know your background. I just installed my first wig using glue on my sister and i'm so happy I can share this information with her so that her wig can be removed safely. Thank you for educating me. I know have the confidence to practice some more and eventually provide this as a service to my clients.
OMG! This is most helpful and detailed video i’ve seen. Thanks you, thank you, thank you on the education. It’s so nice to hear from a mature woman with experience on how to take care of and properly do your hair and wigs vs some of the quick tutorials with zero education.Very much appreciated! I learned the hard way when removing a lace. A busy stylist did my hair and never said how to properly care for it let alone what glue she used or how to remove it. This will save me for the next time. Only one question. If i don’t have the bold hold remover or use another type of glue, what’s an alternative to properly remove the wig?
This video alone shows the care put into this line. I had no idea how damaging my removal process was until now. I saw the results but couldn't figure out why my edges were suffering so much. This was hugely educational and really makes me trust the brand. And a lot of that has to do with the fact that they are very clear about the hazards and how to take care of yourself. this explains why my forehead is messed up. i have the remover but i was heavily using alcohol.

To remove the Bold Hold glue, spray on the lace remover and let it sit, rub it in and it helps loosen the glue. To remove Liquid Gold, use water.
To remove the cap, you have to spray the lace remover on it too?
Spray the remover and message it in. Let the remover sit. After the wig has loosened, remove the wig. Use shampoo on a dampened cloth to remove the glue residue from the skin. Use water to remove the Liquid Gold.

The proper steps for removing the glue are:
NO ALCOHOL TO REMOVE 😂
spray on the bold hold remover (it includes a natural solvent that dissolves the glue) and let it sit.
This allows the glue to melt off easily and saves your peach fuzz 😏

I would love to see a video on how you customize your hairlines or pluck your frontals. They always look SUPER natural!💜
Yassss bc I just knew this was her own hair, until she removed it,👀 huni I even took a screenshot so I can show my stylist that I desire to be melted like this 😌🙌🏼😍
Ma’am do you have a detailed wig tutorial cuz I was scared you thought u had a wig on and you were just pulling at your scalp 😂😭.
SAME it looks sooooo real!
I was shocked that this was a wig because this look like her hair man 👨🏽🦯👨🏽🦯🤦🏽♀️
I wish I would have found this video yesterday because I sure did use alcohol 😩😩 I had no idea that using alcohol wasn’t good!!
Wow ur video is so informative I needed that knowledge for myself I have thin fine hair looking for some info and just happened to run across your video
First Off Where Did You Get This Wig? Because This Look Like Your Real Hair I Loveeeee It ♥️😍😍😍😍
I'm a fan for life
Vastly thought out! I think clients would love this.
I use the extreme glue. I love it. Do you have a video on how to use it properly. Can you post the link 🤗
TheHair Diagram thanks 🤗 can I send you my wig to bleach the knots and tweeze the hairline 😩
TheHair Diagram that’s understandable. Can you pleaseeee list what you use to bleach knots? I’m about to purchase on Amazon and follow your steps from the video
Do you have a product package..or kit of it all
Thank you for the information! I’ve never considered using shampoo to remove residue on the skin! I’ll be purchasing the gelly when it’s available! Liquid gold has been my favorite product drop so far 🥰
Wow I am new to wig wearing and can’t even get my wig to stay on a whole day haha it would save so much time
Wow this was great and very informational!!
Is this lace you’re wearing in the video HD ?
When I apply my wigs and I want to get the excess glue off what should I use? I was using the lace remover at first but like you said it’s a solvent so I noticed a few pieces of my lace lifting.
Hello i am going to Jamaica i dont want the braids what do you recommend to glue down my lace sew in waterproof for 4 days i dont want my hair to fall off lol i have the BOLD HOLD ACTIVE. NEVER USED before.
I want this wig so freakin bad😫😫🤣
Hi, I have alopecia. I would like to know where can I get a unit from. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.
If i don’t have the bold hold remover or use another type of glue, what’s an alternative to properly remove the wig?
use oil instead if you dont have the remover
