I learned more lightroom techniques in these 11 minutes than literally every other tutorial I watched today combined. Thanks Omar!
Helpful. Many I knew. Learned a bunch. Thank you.
Brilliant…. just brilliant!
Learned more about Lightroom in this video than I have watching hundreds of others from so-called experts.
Brilliant Omar! Thank you so much 👍
Had to rewatch this cause I had it playing while driving. But I did learn a great amount, at most I did maybe a few of these already.
Extremely helpful, thank you!!
Wow !!! Great Video Dropped what i was doing and went straight to lightroom to give it a try !!!
Love the commentary - "rule of thirds... yeeeaaah" xD
Thank you for the useful shortcuts
Thank you for sharing all these quick tips. Love your tutorials.
You're the man! 💪🎯
I really need to start using shortcuts. thanks for sharing!
Thanks Omar. I knew and used some of these but didn't know about or look for K, M, shift-M, W and A. Started using them and what a help.
Super fantastic. I learned more shortcuts than in any other Lightroom video I've seen
Love this. I know one too. Its after pressing R to crop you can press O to shift the cropping tool to other stuff like the golden ratio etc. I dont know if this will ever be useful but it sure af looks cool :)
i am a LR newbie and really appreciate this vid. thanks for the effort and sharing. i am an appreciative subscriber. thumbs up.
great tips and tricks - ty.
Didn't know those last couple! HUGE assist with so many color issues! Thanks so much for this one!
I actually learned something new from this. Thanks!
Brilliant Omar. Demystified so much of Lightroom in ten minutes. Will buy you a beer if you ever make it to Scotland :)
Thanking you for showing this lt techniques ,very helpful:)
Thanks; very helpful. I also like the new enhance feature in Lightroom.
Control plus backslash will give you a list of the short cuts in each module, Library and Develop. 'L' = 'lights out' is handy one as well that I use a lot.
Great tips Omar, Thanks I'll continue to reference this video in the future.
Love this new topic. Already really enjoyed your Fujifilm gear videos, but these Lightroom practical and easy to understand tutorials are fantastic. Thanks!!
Fantastic video. Thanks Omar
Awesome video, great tips and techniques 🥇
Amazing. Thank you for the tips.
Thank you.
Amazing TY for these awesome tips.
Excellent!
Thanks for sharing
These short cuts are extremely useful! They should help me reduce my post processing time by quite a bit! A million thanks🙏 Now, obviously I need to watch this again and take notes because I already forgot a bunch!
Omar, thanks for the tips!
I thought their were issues with Fuji files when importing into LR. Do you not worry about that? If you do, is there a video on what you need to do? I’m using Capture One with my XT4 files but do prefer LR if it doesn’t cause any “worming” with the raw files. Great tips on this video.
I use "L" a lot after applying edits. Then lastly "F" to view it full screen. Thanks for this video; it was very well done.
This Omar video brought to you by the letters L and R.
awesomeness
which lens and camera are using for the video? excellent work!!
I was editing in LR right now wishing I knew some more tricks, and you just delivered in spades! 🙏
Cheers!
Excellent excellent video. Thanks. 2 questions: are you using LR Classic? And do you typically shoot RAW or JPG ? Thanks, again!
Such an amazing guy
Great video! I use most of these shortcuts but Shift+J color picker and Shift+Option+CMD+M sync shortcuts are new to me
Gotta replay and write the shortcuts to a cheat “card”. G as in “grid”.. or “Gas Meter” - nice! Why am I reminded of Sesame Street “brought to you by the letter ....”
Thank you!
I can't say wow enough! as in the comment before...I learned more in this video that maybe a dozen I've watched combined. The only question I would have is on the color profiles. Are they unique to Fuji, Sony, Canon etc. I have Sony but do not see film profiles.
Köszönjük!
Thanks so much!!!
More videos like this on work flow.
0:20 D Develop
0:20 G Grid
0:56 Color Profile
1:50 R Crop
2:10 A Lock/unLock Crop
2:25 K Brush
2:55 M Gradient
3:15 Shift M Radial Gradient
4:30 \ Before/After
4:40 Y Compare
5:00 Q Healing
5:35 Select Subject
6:40 O Grid lines
7:05 Transform
7:35 Sync Settings
7:50 Shift + Option + M Match Total Exposure
8:20 Ranking Color Code 6-0
My tip: on the import settings you can choose to import raws with Adobe profile or with the camera’s profile (this works also on the mobile version)
And you can go even further and define different profiles for different cameras in the Lightroom settings. And to even take a next step, if you have several cameras of the exact same model, you could differentiate your settings per serial number.
Lightroom AMSR by Omar 😁
When dragging the crop lines, hold the Shift key to keep the proportions of the crop the same (instead of hitting A)
Good video
Omg 😳 Shift + Option + Command + M?! What other shortcuts I don’t know?! Can you put all these shortcuts on your website or something?!
Thanks great. Welcome to Sesame Street. Today is brought to you by the letter "M"
You ever used a Loupedeck + with Lightroom?
OK, Omar... which is it? Nine months ago you had a really good, and simple, tutorial on editing photos, in order to give them "punch" and "pop". Then, 8 months later you're using more Lightroom effects than I can possibly remember. Do you edit simply, or do you simply edit (and edit, and edit, and edit)? That is the question.
Nothing about LrC 11.5? It’s out!
WOW I feel like an idiot.
I've been using Fujicameras for over a year and I haven't spotted the little grid icon that allows you to open your image profiles on the right and get access to fuji film sims in lightroom
Well I've learned something x)
They are pretty buried though! One thing to note is that they're not an exact match to the on-camera processing of those same simulations, from what I understand. But probably close enough.
I don’t even have hem in the color profiles! Haven’t been able t9 get them there….
I love you
Which do you prefer? CaptureOne or Lightroom?
Lr means Lightroom. You're working in LrC, Lightroom Classic.
When would you use Photoshop vs Lightroom?
I wish they had kept things consistent. C for Crop in Photoshop makes so much sense to me. What does R have to do with cropping? 😂
Merci !
Merci to you!!!
I can see you talking like this during all of your non-taped edits.

wassup andrew tate
Shift + Option + Command + M?! Jesus, what other shortcuts don’t I know?! It gets to a point where they’re just acronyms lol
Is option alt key on windows?
I don't get the sample move spot removal at 5:23 of the video is there a button for that? @omargonzalez
Just holding the command key and dragging to a spot I want to sample.
