I think this was the first one I heard. I related because I understood. My boy’s father died of an overdose in a hotel room in Houston. 15 years later our firstborn son was found dead by housekeeping in a hotel room. His son was 13…. just seeing that generational curse almost is soul crushing. On a brighter note his son is now a sophomore at LSU. I pray every day he will break the cycle.
It’s great to see that NF’s music really connects with you. If you want another deep/emotional one, you should listen to Therapy Session, it’s emotional and personal.
Dude, you have so much honesty in your voice about the sympathy you feel for anyone who endured this… I’m a 44yo woman…who has never been a daughter. My “mother” spiraled in and out of sobriety and her demons took her…even though she is still alive, I think. And eventually 10 years ago…she murdered my stepdad after 23 years of marriage!?!? She was never charged. I don’t know if she is living or dead. I don’t have a relationship with my father. To be an adult who was never someones’ child is SO difficult…but I’d endure it a million times more to ensure that my own children will NEVER suffer that pain.
❤❤❤❤ Great Reaction!! so took me 4x to finally watch it through, Now I can listen to it everyday on my playlist, He keeps it real and he has made a positive difference in this world, Selling out arenas on his Hope tour, Nate has fans all over the world. they get tattoos of NF logo, or a lyric, or his symbolic balloons or cart, it's amazing to see his fans are especially in his video motto, all those people are fans showed to help with that video.
As someone who came from a less than healthy childhood this song cuts so deep. It’s pure therapy I love to see people experience it for the first time. Ray with another 🔥 react. I can not wait till you get to Mama, it will get deeper
Love the reaction!! ♥ also.... When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
This is him where he starts. Him moving THROUGH his pain has taken SO MANY fragile people through their journey... Into health. It gets right. That's why it's called a journey. ❤❤❤❤
Definitely a tough one to listen to especially in my case. I lost my mom to drugs and the street life. Yeah she's alive and back in my life now but we lost a lot of years together because of her choices... Shout outs to all the babies raised by their Grandmothers 👊🎈💪
Keep on the journey bro ! and when you get through it all and make it to mama just be prepared for that one also 🤘🏼 dope reaction man keep up the grind
This song, Mansion, Nate are important songs on the journey and this song is so emotional for NF but later on in the journey you’ll hear a song 🎶 called Mama off his new album and a lot of this pain is healed!
The most important thing about NF, beside the brilliant lyrics, the awesome flow, the great songs, inticrate videos and perfect production jobs is that he's REAL.
I really relate to NF since my dad died when I was 13. And I was in heavy grief, and listening to him really helped. I get this and understand the feeling. The woman watching in the corner of the room, taking notes. I was taken away from my biological family, and was taken away. I was 4, and had three sister younger than me, and two older brothers. I took care of my sisters since they couldn’t take care of themselves. The woman in the corner is every child fear when they were in foster care. They know what’s coming. 5is song is very special to me, since my dad died to kidney failure which the cause was drugs. He skipped dialysis once a month to see us. He needed dialysis everyday of the week. And when he skipped it, he would throw up and get really sick when he skipped dialysis. Finally dying on March 13 2021
Thank you for acknowledging the struggle some of us have gone through losing a parent to addiction both for me. NF is real please listen to mama next it is needed after this...
This joint just hits different when you were through the exact same thing with momma.. my mother couldn’t afford me.. passed when I was 8… and I’m not sure how I made it out alive tbh.. lookin back sucks but the better days are ahead.. so I ripped the rear view off and try not to peer over my shoulder.. my past definitely needs to remain behind me.. stay up youngin it gets better in time
He's going to have a concert one day today or in the next week's I don't know if I have been doing I love songs it's is telling a story what he been through and some Tower learn how to tell my story of the song when I've been through of wrapping but it can take time rapping
I want you to hit the journey in order. There’s a reason people are suggesting you do that. Context throughout what has turned out to be a concept discography! That said.. I’ve watched hundreds of people react to NF (literally). I can always tell really quickly if they vibe with my experience listening myself. You a real one dude.. subscribed. I REALLY do hope you’ll heed the advice in the comments though about following the journey.
There's a list of what is called "The Journey" it tells you what order to listen to NF tracks. He raps about a lot of emotional things but it's so relatable and it heals
I like your NF reactions, but you are doing them all in the wrong order. There is an NF playlist on youtube called "the journey" that gives you the sequence. It will help you understand many of the lyrical and vidual references. You basically started reading a book in the middle, and then your read a few chapters backwards.
I love NF, but I can't listen to this song... it destroys me... it's a one to one reflection of my entire childhood.... seeing my mother slowly kill herself month after month, seizures from drug abuse during my birthday when I was only 10... it's the only song Nate made that I can't listen to....
I’m sitting here tonight and I’m going through it. I’m definitely knowing how it feels.😢 dealing with losing my brother, my ONLY brother to overdose. But finding videos like this, of other human beings processing the same situation…. it helps ❤ thank you 🙏
Welcome to the journey bro. You skipped a few chapters but you’ll get there. I recommend going back to his mansion album and working your way up from there, his entire catalog is a story, with each album being a different chapter.
I promise, he heals. It’s worth the journey. So many of us needed to heal from similar situations

FR dont hide the emotions. his fans are here because we all went through issues. never a judgment from the outcasts

The ending he asked everyone to leave the studio so he can say the last part and be vulnerable
Oh shit. Here we go again. Getting the tissues out for the millionth time. 😢 such a beautiful voice and track but so hard..

I'm now getting counseling and dealing with junk in my past and NF gives me courage to press on!
Stay strong bro

Listen to LAYERS, the beat switches go crazy. My personal favourite from the CLOUDS album
This is the song that brought me to NF. I played it for my daughter-in-law. It turned her life around and made her the great mom she is today.
I totally agree! He grows! And it’s great! You should react to Happy and Hope his newer songs!
Fs he’s crazy this one hits
Wow I’m so excited for you to listen to MAMA and HOPE. It’s a journey
Keep on the journey bro ! and when you get through it all and make it to mama just be prepared for that one also 🤘🏼 dope reaction man keep up the grind
This shit hits hard 😢 .. Love your kids don't make the same mistake.. Peace & Respect from across the pond .. 🇬🇧 💙 🇺🇸
This song, Mansion, Nate are important songs on the journey and this song is so emotional for NF but later on in the journey you’ll hear a song 🎶 called Mama off his new album and a lot of this pain is healed!
by the way the last part was genuine nf venting out on the mic, the producer recorded it and they decided to add it
Yeah he asked everyone to step out of the studio at the end to have a 1 on 1 vent to his mother with all the real raw emotion, and real crying out.
You should save NF - HOPE for the finale🤷♂️
But for now you should react to
NF - CLOUDS ☁️
or
NF - MOTTO 🍿
I agree hope should be next. Maybe “Lost” and then “Hope”
The most important thing about NF, beside the brilliant lyrics, the awesome flow, the great songs, inticrate videos and perfect production jobs is that he's REAL.
Gotta listen to Mama after this track, shows how far he's come.
So, plz do Story or Thats a joke next plz.
I agree with Story! One of my favorites to watch reactions of!
I cry every time I hear this one. NF rabbit hole is an emotional one, but so healing too. #NFReal
You got ambushed Ray with those who recommended this song so early in your NF Journey. LOL. Sorry they did you like that. Thanks for your reaction.
Gotta listen to mama, it’s like a “how could you leave us pt 2”
NF Real Music 🎶 🎵 He doesn't curse ❤
You need to check out the Clouds mix tape next. Hits so hard! NF is the Best

Thank you for acknowledging the struggle some of us have gone through losing a parent to addiction both for me. NF is real please listen to mama next it is needed after this...
I relate so much cause I’m adopted and my dad left me and my mom didn’t want me or my siblings cause all she wanted was drugs
Yeaaaaaa good reaction sorry about you not haveing anything to say that’s just what he had going on back then he’s getting better know
I'd just say listen to as much NF as you can. You won't be disappointed at all. But I suggest NF-All I have. Also any INTRO songs!

There's a list of what is called "The Journey" it tells you what order to listen to NF tracks. He raps about a lot of emotional things but it's so relatable and it heals
A lot of his songs also reference other songs, and music videos too.
You missed the end
🫡🙏🙌💪

Imagine how he'll react to hope wonder if he'll make the connections
I’m sitting here tonight and I’m going through it. I’m definitely knowing how it feels.😢 dealing with losing my brother, my ONLY brother to overdose. But finding videos like this, of other human beings processing the same situation…. it helps ❤ thank you 🙏
The end part of the song he had to to kick everyone out of the studio cause he was to emotional to do it infront of everyone
Bless you too, man. Thanks for the great reaction!
