One of the reasons why so many people watch your show is you guys are without a doubt the funniest Husker podcastersout there! I laugh everytime I watch you. 😅😅😅
@@wayiamstarr even when Sip rambles on about random topics from whatever decade his mind wanders through? That drive me crazy and wish I had a fast forward past Sip button.
I'm going to write to the UNI about holding a contest for the chemistry/engineering students to develop a truly biodegradable balloon and keep this tradition. I am thinking one that splits into almost a confetti at a certain time/altitude with a material that composts but can hold helium or another propellant/gas pressure for a brief time. What a fun project- the univ. could patent it, make it out of corn (starches/polymers), make a sharing contract with the winners. Flip the script.
I watch all the husker shows available! This is the best show out there with arguably the most knowledgeable folks to the program! Thanks gents! GBR ☠️ ☠️ ☠️ ☠️ ☠️
You guys should do for a question again on most memorable moments of 400 sellouts especially after more time to think since it is such a milestone question: Mine is still Sam Foltz, no punter formation. Sept 3, 2016. Delay of game... declined.
To Sipp’s comment of the Illinois interception category. 3 came against Jaylen Daniels who has 6 on the year. He’s so awful and is not a passer. The other two QB’s they’ve faced are not great either. That stat is pretty over inflated to me.
I really wish Fox would air some of the drone show and thunder stuck 4th quarter intro, do you guys have any insight as to why us watching at home never get to see any of that on the broadcast?
I, too, wanted the drones and wondered why we didn't have them. BTW, spoke to some UNI folks in line and they were so excited...to play Nebraska...but for the paycheck! He kept talking about the huge amount of their payout from Nebraska that completely transformed their budget! (I looked and it was $600K).
I always wondered how FCS teams feel about playing FBS teams. The school gets paid well but it's hard to imagine the players and fans being happy about a game with a 99% chance of getting blown out. Seems like a demoralizing way to start to their seasons.
@@dream_in_digital Well, this guy was stoked. His grandson (#96) was playing. He also said they took another game and will be playing in Hawaii this weekend! Who would give up a chance to play in Memorial stadium? They won't forget this game or this experience! They did put up more yards than I would have expected. Funny listening to their head coach...had they just got that sack against Dylan, they had a shot at winning!
Only thing I will say in response to Sip's comment about how people flip through channels, that's the way we watch TV, is No, that's not how people watch "TV" any more. Very, very few people are going to stumble upon this game because it's at a certain time Friday night. People stopped watching TV like that in 2000 to 2010, except possibly very old people (and I'm 54, so older than me).
@MrBlpete Yeah, I know, that's why I said bring them back. Bring them back for every game. I would rather have bollons at every game than drones at the night games. They only did them for the CU game. Go Big Red, my friend!
I can't even fathom how asinine your comment is. And I love the balloon tradition but they are literally rubber balloons lol. How is that comparative to the drone show? That is so unique and awesome. It's a spectacle. Letting 🎈 go is cute and fun, but that's it. And quite frankly, might be hazardous to the environment. Kinda just littering in the state of Nebraska. You're just throwing trash up in the air in a sense. The drone show is 1000× better than the balloons. It absolutely wows recruits. Balloons wow Grandma Gertrude. C'mon
When Nebraska reaches the level we used to enjoy around here, it'd be nice to stay away from Friday games. When ESPN used to show regular Thursday night games, Osborne wasn't too excited either way, but just let it play out. Nebraska still won most of them anyway.
Sipp was spot on when he said Husker fans just want to know everything because they’re so nervous about any little thing that could go wrong. The fan base is very fragile and vulnerable right now! Haha
Regarding FSU and ACC Contract…imagine Deion (Primetime) would stimulate their ratings and inflating the TV money…the stars may be aligning for Sanders to hop CU and move to FSU
Sorry for all the comments. I think the drone will be a state outline of Nebraska with 400 inside it. That’s my guess. I’m with Sean though, I looooove the drone shows. Even Travis Hunter and CU was caught up in it.
They're pronouncing it correctly. Most players make audio recordings of their names for the roster on the official Nebraska website. Find Mazzccua's name on the roster and click on the ear symbol to hear him say his name.
In regards to the Michigan comments and I'm not a big Michigan booster. But they lost six coaches. Include a head coach and two coordinators. They lost 10 starters on the offense only returning a tight end. They lost five people on the defense . I think anyone including Michigan fans who expected them to come out of the chute and be the same team or somewhat close we're dreaming. I don't know if the current coach is the guy, but there's certainly enough reasons to not be a good team right now. I heard a report recently. That's Nebraska. Will lose 17 starters off of this year's team. That's one of the reason that coach is getting younger players some reps Plus every time Tony White's name is mentioned by someone and the next comment is he's probably going to leave next year to become a head coach. We'll find out how challenging that is
