NOTE IF, you want to just jump right into say a JIC connection, you can do so, you just shop for 1/4" male BSP fitting to JIC -- like,
"7/16-20 JIC x 1/4-19 Male BSPP Steel 45 Degree Elbow Hydraulic Adapter"
Here is a link for this example, you MUST MAKE SURE IT HAS A GASKET / WASHER / "DOWTY seal" to make the port seal connection sound.

It should also be noted the fitting that is supplied is a hybrid type of fitting - a cross of ORB and BSP but not tapered where it ''should be"... another reason you will NOT get a good seal is it also has a rough internal taper and this may give you a false positive on your connection and at high psi loads the fitting may leak... this is is image one ibb.co/LrqmwcN and this is a second image

Most any hydraulic supplier should be able to give you a British to jic or din fitting

In Scotland the seal is called a Dowty seal and is widely used for hydraulic seals. Most hydraulic fittings here ar BSP or BSPT here 1/4" ,3/8" ,1/2",3/4" and so on.
On mine I had to retread to American tread I cound not find any elbow fitting so just retread work great

So, I posted a pretty ignorant post about a 10 mm Port debt was actually not even a port at all. Unfortunately, I was barely able to see the print on the very limited directions that came with my pump and even with a magnifying glass that is hard to see what the labels are identifying. Unlike all of the pumps with clear instructions on the web showing proper hose connections, bike your unit, there is a port and overflow valve on each side of the pump. I got the correct port fittings for a total of $6 but like Ashref, I am left with vital question: how in the world I am supposed to know which of the ports should be connected to the rod end and which should be connected to the base? So sorry to have created confusion.
Anyway, thanks for trying to resolve the first part.

I have that pump on my dump trailer it comes down so slow is there a way to speed up
Negative of a fast lowering pump is the damage of a slammed deck onto your frame.
Does it come down at the same speed when it is loaded?
You would have to make a video for me to compare your pump but it will be the cylinder that is slowing you up more than likely.

Ashref, did you learn which port goes to rod and base? There is no "a" and "b" on my pump or in my manual images.
