og still holds up
0:54 you removed atmosphere
The original had more of an art style.
Almost thought the score was Yeah by Usher
I swear it is lol
Same!!!
Pfft.. why is everything nowadays a “remaster” how about you make until dawn 2 or something instead of tweaking the graphics and charging us $50 for a game we completed 10 years ago
I wish they would have left some of the colors alone , like not turning night time view into dusk views or making other scenes less blue, etc.
They just kill that original dark atmosphere, dark blue moon light... I still prefer original. Something here looks nice (better models, sharpen textures, particles of fire/flair, animations)... but it lost original soul and it is "Until Blur" more than "Until Dawn".
it’s cool but i’m sorry it’s not worth full price for those who already played the game. the original holds up well. an upgrade price could have worked.
This game already looked and ran smoothly on ps5 backwards compatible.
It does still drop on PS5 and has emulation issues like the lantern freaking out.
Except the sound is trash and oh the letterboxes, hope they'll have a toggle for those
too bad bro its coming to pc and with a visual upgrade
These type of games I expect to see on the next generation! As you grow older become busy with life. Sometimes you want a interactive/slighy passive experience more movie like with a few button presses of a game.
I want more cinematic type games where you just watch more with minimum player input. Great when having guest come over. Next generation of entertainment.
Still waiting for you to explain how the "Don't move" mechanic is going to work on PC
Maybe you’ll have to rapidly keep pressing a button if you’re playing on keyboard.
Maybe the mechanic on PC will move on its own and you'll have to keep it still in that spot? Not sure how they will go about this but that's my own guess.
Don't touch your mouse? I suppose you could also play with a controller on PC...
like man of medan
I love the most changes and touches they did, 0:39 but atmosphere on the left is superior and better suited i think.
Old looks Very better
0:40 I love the light in the new version, but dark mountains since the very beginning of the game were the mood.
I just bet the PS4 version a couple of years ago and it still holds up, I will eventually buy the enhanced PS5 version and I hope that the same eerie horror tone is in this enhanced version as the PS4 version, to me there's no point in reimagining the originals horror eerie tone and direction, only the visuals and frame rate.
Yaaaay they fixed my girl Emily
What do u mean she was fine imo
@@invadertifxiiishe looked old
@Tayte25 This is why you only compare finished product with finished product. Not beta with finished product.
yes i was worried ngl! looking forward to oct 4th now 🎉
@@cesilias2419 well... No.
I like the cool tone coolers more. The enhanced warm colors aren’t doing it for me
The old one still looks so amazing. Tht new lighting n detail looks unreal like reality . Seen so many idiots saying the old one looked better
Lets remake a game that is stillplayable on ps5. And dont forget to remake the remake in 5 years.
I think they just decided to do it as part of bringing it to PC as well.
@@sean8102 Nah... The could easily bring the original to PC. Like uncharted.
@@TheRealLonewith lag and bad optimization?
@@McLeonVP Havent played the pc Version yet. But my point was that they could bring the PS4 version to pc if intended. The optimisation is another topic.
Ballistic Moon explained that they would launch it for PC but decided to remake it with a new graphic engine, so there we are.
3rd person camera is a nice addition, but it would be nice to have the option for classic fixed camera angles.
Do we have to rebuy it or will it be a 10 dollar upgrade or something
I'll give you three guesses. Just think of the way Sony have been recently - profit over everything.
@lemming9984 well a lot of these kind of things they've gave us a discounted paid upgrade, the tlou part 1 and 2 are the only ones I can think of that you still had to out right buy again
I still think the original holds up really well.
Some of these new camera angles look kinda cool.
Finalmente vamos jogar essa belezinha no pc🇧🇷
Well at least they’re making some minor changes but not enough to buy again. PS4 version is perfectly fine, should’ve just made a sequel.
minor changes? they literally added more scenes and more characters screen time and new gameplay dynamics wdym minor changes lol
@@josesilveira2001 so they have a fixed camera and that's enough for you to pay full price for a remaster? You dropped your red nose, 🤡🤡
@@Rinzler555 Pretty sure you dropped your own nose there, but ignorance is a helluva thing so no wonder you didn't realize it was yours
@@Rinzler555 bro can’t you read? i literally said they added a bunch of new scenes and gameplay, plus more mechanics, i’m saying this because the developers said so…
@@Rinzler555 despite the fact that they rebuilt the entire game from the zero, improved visuals, graphics, ilumination and characters animations, so it’s not just a remaster…
sam apretiating the view back then made me stunned, and now the view is perfect. I also noticed there might be some new gameplay and camera angles... super hyped!!
They are gonna make remakes for all the games out there.
I love this game. I’ll buy it again for sure.
I still can’t believe how terrible The Quarry was. What happened?
All the new yellow tones makes it seem less dark/grim/spooky/dreadful.
I wonder if there's a free ps5 upgrade for ps4.
Definitely has a Resident Evil Remake feel to it. Which is cool.
Will this be on disc or is it just digital download only?
both
Yes’nt
The reworked prologue is SO exciting and is clearly hinting at more of Beth! I'm hoping we do get more of her! I always found it weird that Hannah's room is the only one you can find in the lodge, so I'm wondering if one of the new locations is Beth's room. It would make sense to add collectibles for her if it is a new location, and it would make her more of a character and less of a part of Hannah's character. If nothibg else though, the explosion promises that we'll feel even worse for the twins this time around.
This didn’t even need a remake
Yes, it did. Much more than TLoU, and we had 3 of those
@@shinjilee explain how this needed a remake
We needed Resistance remastered trilogy…
@@Johnatansutton We do, yes. But that doesn't mean we didn't need the Until Dawn remake either
If u don’t need one, don’t buy it. Bye 👋🏽. Lot of people will buy 🤙🏽
Is it free upgrade ?
Will there be new trophies?
probably
Everything looks great except price tag🙄
Somehow looks less realistic and cheaper-looking. Out of all games to remake you chose this one game that looks perfectly ok AND can be played in PS5
Yup. A PC port of the original would’ve been just fine.
I'm so excited!! My husband and I play this game every year on Halloween!! One of my favorite scary games to play!!!🖤💀🎮
So I already own the ps4 version do I have to purchase it again? Or is it a $10 upgrade like other games.
It’s a full rebuild and enhanced game
@@Heyraturprettycute it is not why are you lying gor the sake of a corporation?
consertaram a luminosidade onde no original tudo era em tons frios ate mesmo na cabana que era pra dar a empressao de algo quente e aconchegante enfim, tô muito ansioso
Am I the only one who thinks the new graphics are a little cheesy, I didn't like them at all especially Emily and Matt
Close
If you didn’t like them then you don’t have to play it case closed 🌚🌝🫠
The new soundtrack is 🔥
I can't stop listening to it
