Hello, I’ve just had the exact code come up on my 2015 Scirocco. The mechanic is trying to say I need to spend £1170 on a whole new airbag etc. would it be best to think they’re trying to milk my money and instead get someone to replace the Clock Spring instead?
My local VW specialist insisted this error was a faulty steering wheel module at the cost of £600+ They were of course utterly wrong (either incompetent or dishonest I don't know). I fitted a new OEM clockspring this afternoon by following this GREAT video and a quick session with VCDS and I'm back to no airbag light. Thank you for posting this video, it's saved me some serious cash 👍👍
Hello sir I have Skoda superb and I got 01222 error in my car side air bag crash sensor open or short error for front passenger side. How can I solve the issue. And I checked door side wiring also good sensor to socket continuity is came. How can I checke that sensor please help me
Т.е.вы отключили саму подушку безопасности,затем вставили резистор на 3 Ом,скинули ошибку через vcds,а затем убрали резистор и подключили назад подушку?? И стало все ок??
Odporom som si iba overil ci je uz kabelaz dobrá. Ked biy bola zla tak po resete chyba zase hned vyskoci. Chyba bola ako hovoris v strede v podvolantovom kruzku.
