MJ generally avoids controversy as he wants everyone to buy his brand, not just a subset of the population. Caitlin is a baller and earned a roster spot.
Caitlin now is one of 17 players in wnba history to have a triple double.
Diana Turasi has zero triple doubles.
Caitlin should actually have 2 now but her coach Christy kept her on the bench for the last few minutes. Makes no sense.

She had a migraine that game and actually if you watch the game the coach was putting her back in but Clark shakes her head no. So it was Clark that kept herself from getting that triple double. She cares more about the win and knew the game was won be did her job and just wanted to get away from the lights and noise…she has struggled with migraines for years and get through playing with them with the adrenaline but once that goes the pain hits hard so I as someone who also have suffered with migraines all my life and badly to the point that I have to get monthly injections and take a blocker pills daily yet still get them a couple times a month if my triggers are met have know idea how she can get through playing in those bright lights and all those screaming fans not to mention booming music for 40mins…shows her true mamba mentality for sure.

    • @housepianist

And I’m fed up with the CC cult fanbase who is so obsessed with her, they think the earth revolves around her! If the Fever win, give all-mighty praise at the alter of Clark. If the Fever loses, eternal damnation to the haters, coaches, refs, and fellow teammates. None of them have a single grain of logic and reasoning. I mean just look at all the women’s hoops UA-cam channels. They practically have orgasms talking about her and spew hate and contempt at everyone else. Pathetic.
Now don’t get me wrong. I love CC. She is the reason I watch the W and I like watching her play. But here’s the logic that escapes so many abnormal fans of Clark: She is bringing eyes to the league which is full of fantastic, seasoned players. Those “eyes” are seeing great players like Aja Wilson, Diana Taurasi, Tamika Catchings, Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart, Brittney Griner..just to name a few. These ladies have great talent, lots of skills, and even championships. All of this LONG before Caitlin arrived on the scene. And now suddenly, her presence is going to take that all away and render their contributions meaningless because she’s somehow the “greatest player who ever lived”? 😂
You don’t even acknowledge what Caitlin says about herself in this league. She doesn’t want all these accolades. She wants to work towards her greatness, not be given to her on a platter. She’s very chill and just wants to improve as a player as she matures in the league. Why can’t you cults boys take a hint from that? It’s just an obsessive, compulsive worship of Caitlin that does nothing but drive you to delusions of grandeur and you DEFEND this behavior by claiming how all the CC haters are creating a virtua Armageddon against her.
None of you have the balls to admit these kinds of behaviors that you have towards her. It’s sickening. Just let CC play HER game and let it get better over time! She wants it that way and so should you! Stop blaming the world for all of your imaginative demise of Caitlin. She will be just fine but give credit where credit is due! She is NOT the best player in the league. She’s extremely talented and has the ability to do greater things but she has a long way to go for that. And Caitlin has said that! Why is everyone so hellbent on making her the Queen of the WNBA?

I'd rather see her take the time off and announce the games on NBC. She has spent more competitive time on the court than any female player over the last 7 or 8 months. Not only that, but she's a PG.

I knew it! She is THAT GOOD. The biggest thing I worry about is her getting injured. She's taking a POUNDING from all the jerks that can only ever WISH they had her fire. I'm telling you; she turns the other cheek a LOT. I think she should keep her eyes open for danger and at least DUCK these poundings. The jerks should ALSO stop trash talking her and trying to sabotage her. The biggest basketball names in the WORLD are praising her, and like I said, she's a PHENOMINON!

I think the main theory is that the veterans get to go to these events, like the Olympics, because it’s a free trip to whatever country it’s being held in, you get the glory of representing your country, and even if you lose it’s still a great perk of the job. So the ones who get to choose who goes are the players and the managers who are their friends. Veterans have seniority so they get the perks. It’s not about winning, clearly, because they didn’t pick the best. Maybe when Clark gets a little more experience and pull in the industry she’ll change this dynamic. It’s all power plays and seniority over real basketball. Caitlin is all about real basketball.

Michael Jordan my #1 sports inspirator . I am sure you will help Caitlin Clark get to tbe Olympics in 2024 this month and year. She deserves to compete against the best Olympic team players as Michael Jordan said, that she is better than all of the Olympic female team players. Thank you Michael Jordan for reaching out and encouraging Caitlin Clark. The greatest female college turned WNBA player in history. She is about to change the game.

I am excited to say MJ has always been my top NBA player ever and CC, my girl. She's on fire and the real deal. Loved your video. ❤🇺🇸🏀
I said this before and stand by it. MJ is right. This is my take....I just don't understand how the WNBA can do this to themselves. Imagine what the NBA would of become. If the league told MJ.... sorry, MJ, you have to sit this one out. Maybe four years from now, you can be on the Olympic team, oh, and we are holding you back from making history in the NBA.
Plus, if we bring you, it might grow the NBA to much. We don't want to many fans, or any more money, or popularity for the league. Imagine that? This is absurd. MJ is right.
