Good Dwajawanthi by Aswanth Narayanan and party. Thanks AN..his team and Charusar for making quality music avilable for netizens over You Yube.
Such a lovely rendition. For such compositions, the minimalist style of Arun Prakash or Manoj Siva suit better in my opinion.
Excellent! So peaceful.
Have been waiting for this upload... Thankyou
Awesome!
The scales of Dwijavanti are as follows :
Arohanam : S R2 M1 G3 M1 P D2 S’
Avarohanam : S’ N2 D2 P M1 G3 M1 R2 G2 R2 S N2 D2 N2 S
It is a Janya raga, derived from Harikambhoji , 28th on the Melakarta scale. Apart from this "‘Cheta Sri Balakrishnam’" on Lord Krishna at Guruvayoor kshetra, may other composition of Muthuswamy Dikshitar in Dwijavanti is - ‘Akhilandeswari’ (the goddess of Thriuvanaikkaval). Here, the singer- Ashwath Narayanan has potential to perform further if attempt to sing vinyasams. niraval in anupallavi or charanam where ever the raga gives scope for the same. Good rendition indeed Best wishes.
Superb 💚
