Today I binged Ragnarök on Netflix. The whole time I was watching it I was really enjoying it but I was getting really pissed at the same time . They should have made this instead of that . Not that I don’t appreciate Ragnarök for what it is but come on man we need a Percy Jackson series ASAP.

Ok damn. As terrible the movies were at adapting the books, this line from Luke gave me goosebumps because goddamn these people are seriously *half-god* and the significance of that was emphasized like nothing else in this line delivery. Wow.
But even half gods are easy to drown considering its such a huge deal percy can breathe underwater.

I have only watched the lightning thief (which I didn't like because I've read the books) but apparently the sea of monsters acting and affects were really bad. I don't think I would have liked the movies even if I hadn't read the books though. But that's just my opinion.

The Percy Jackson books are just so good, that the movies that are based on books are bad compared to books, but are still great and entertaining, im a huge Percy Jackon fan btw

Percy Jackson was my literal childhood, honestly the Percy Jackson series deserved the world and a way better movie series. Also this edit is amazing omfg.
I believe the introduction of the first book was that, "if you feel you identify with this book, stop reading."
The Percy Jackson movies actually got me interested in the books and reading in general. If they weren’t any good then I would never be where I am without them.

I feel like they kind of combined Annabeth and Clarisse in the first movie, and so when they actually put Clarisse in the second one, Annabeth lost all her bad ass scenes

@@shaunteraholloway895 oh hunny here we go. In the first movie grover was black, percy had blue eyes and annabeth had blue eyes and broen straight hair and are all 16. In the books, grover should be white and ginger, percy should have green eyes and annabeth should have stormy grey eyes and curly blond hair. They should also be twelve. In the second movie, Kronos awakens which should only happen until the last book! All in all the mpvies were good but a pretty crap depiction of the books. And i only listed the main differences!
I liked the movies too but I consider them separate from the books more like a loose adaptation so to speak
the things that make me sad about the percy jackson films is that they COULD have been the greatest films of all time

I found that there is a book series so i read it and I was so suprised they twisted the story in the movie this much, but I still thankful for the them to introduce me these books☺️ maybe that's why I still love these movies (sorry for my english)

H. V. Justice the first was was acceptable as a stand-alone, but even without being an adaption, the second movie was all over the place, and kind of hard to follow. there was a lot going on and no enough time to flesh out the plot entirely.

Everybody says that they do not like the movies. OKAY WE GET IT STOP TELLING THIS ALL THE FREAKING TIME FINE? Lets look clearly movie and the books is two DIFFERENT things, its two different ways to tell the story. But one fact you can't change - the movie cast is amazing and acting is cool, the picture of screen is wonderful, its just the script, alright?
Characters were showed unbelievable amazing and their growth and changing through the movies is good enough. While watching we can feel worried for them, bad and happy, whatever and THAT shows that movies made its job - it made us feel something, no matter what bad or good, it just did. Because if u don't feel ANYTHING after watching movie this means that movie really sucks, but if u feel something its not sucks, its just not what u expected at all and that why u feel disappointed. Just understand one fact - everyone sees books different and u can't judge them for that. So stop this stupid hate and shut up pls, bc a lot of ppl annoyed of this shit. Thanks.
