I've been listening to this song for the last month because it's so fantastic. Is there possibly anyway I could get a tab of this song to help me learn it? Thank you
I've got Nailbombs and Rebel yells, these are definitely going to be my next set of Bare Knuckles. Thanks for the demo, the great playing, and a great song!
+Wasp Enterprises Thanks man. Yeah, I've done everything in the same room I shot the video :) Drums by mr Superior Drummer, guitar and bass by me. And the mixing and all that fun stuff.
John, I looked for the song you are playing on iTunes... Couldn't find it. You examples of Bare Knuckle Abraxas pickups has got my interest for my PRS Custom 24. You playing is amazing and you play so effortlessly. Thank you for posting this.
Love this. Excellent playing to demo these. Listened more times than i care to admit lol. I know the video is a number of years old, but do you remember what your signal chain was for this?
Great playing man - i bought an abraxas bridge after seeing this but no matter what i do i cannot get it to sound as sweet as this. Yes i know playing technique comes into it but it just does not sound as sweet as yours - sounds a little thin and harsh in my les paul traditional - any fundamentals i may be missing from setting them up? I normally just use my ears and adjust pole pieces and height by the sound i prefer
Hi Conrad. Impossible for me to say. Does the guitar sound fuller with other pickups? I'd suggest you hit up the guys at BKP and I'm sure they will help you out. Their customer service is second to none.
as others already says i came for thé démo but i've just downloaded your song cause it's so fuckin impressive listening it on the way to the university !
Considering an Abraxas bridge pickup, how does it do with slightly heavier music? Sounds amazingly musical for mid-gain stuff but I'm a bit concerned it will mud out with more gain.
Amazing. To paraphrase Stu Hamm talking about Danny Partridge: I've been playing over 20 years and I still can't get a wide vibrato without moving my finger.
Breathtaking. So tasty. 2:54 stuff blew my mind. Gotta check that out. Update: Tabbed it out here: drive.google.com/file/d/1C_va8lucuBoWvYct523zt7_iBu-EpGSr/view?usp=sharing
top drawer stuff

Hey Calvin. Thanks man. Really glad you like it :) No tabs for this one unfortunately. You're gonna have to do it old school and transcribe :)

+Oz Fobert Glad you like it :)
Nice! What I really like in your videos (among other things) is that you play musical stuffs unlike the guys just going for pyrotechnics. Thanks 😊
I've got Nailbombs and Rebel yells, these are definitely going to be my next set of Bare Knuckles. Thanks for the demo, the great playing, and a great song!

Love this. Excellent playing to demo these. Listened more times than i care to admit lol. I know the video is a number of years old, but do you remember what your signal chain was for this?
Thank you. I think this was just guitar straight into Kemper.
@@johnhuldt thanks! I appreciate the response on an old post!
I bought a BKP Abraxas bridge pickup for my Les Paul after seeing this video. I can't wait for it to come across the pond.
That makes me (and Tim who makes the pickups, lol) very happy! Let me know what you think when you get it.

Really cool song and nice tone!
Thank you!
Wow these sound great!!!!!
Thanks Kyle. They really do. Highly recommend.
Thought - well I've only ever heard the high gain BKP's before, let's listen to some this demo. Great stuff man - the playing and song and amazing.
Thanks man. I know the BKP's are the holy grail in the metal community but they are seriously great for the low gain/clean stuff as well.
Solid, tight, and detail , bravo
+Dimitri Gigauri Thank you Dimitri, for all your love and support.
So if I buy Abraxas pickups I'll get these chops?
Awesome skills!
+Rene P Thank you Rene!
Awesome demo John.
+MrLespaul2000 Thank you kindly.
I bought Abraxas PUs because of this video
Thank you so much man! How do you like them?
@@johnhuldtAbsolutely my kind of taste. I tried many many pickups before, but this one remained in my Les Paul
@@THEAMYGDALA That makes me very happy!
awesome playing :)
Thanks Matt!
Extremely good.
+guitarpaddy83 Thank you kindly.
such a great player
Thanks Sean!
fuckin' great....beautiful tones....your playin' too.....
Thanks Marco.
Very good, nice music and good sound ¡chapeau!
Thanks Oscar!
Came for the demo, stayed for the song and playing
That makes me happy :)
Considering an Abraxas bridge pickup, how does it do with slightly heavier music? Sounds amazingly musical for mid-gain stuff but I'm a bit concerned it will mud out with more gain.
I'm assuming you'll use it mostly for soloing. It handles it beautifully. Great pickups. Highly recommended.
What are the effects used?
is just the bridge pickup the abraxas, or do you have the neck pickup too? im thinking about buying the set
It's both. Let me know how you like them if you get em :)
nice tune!
+Cenk Yay Thank you!
Is that an Epiphone?
Amazing. To paraphrase Stu Hamm talking about Danny Partridge: I've been playing over 20 years and I still can't get a wide vibrato without moving my finger.
Thanks Shan!
Did this ever make it onto an album?
It did not. But you can listen here whenever you want :)
@@johnhuldt Oh believe me... I do a lot. Just wish I could have it on my spotify playlist. :-)
@@StreetRodAZ You are too kind, sir. Glad you like it!
Hi man ! What would you think of the Abraxas in a Stratocaster ?
I'm sure they would be great.
Between Abraxas and Mule which would you prefer?
I haven't tried the Mule so can't really tell you.
I'm planning this on a les paul custom Laine white. I play mostly hard rock and Iron Maiden will this do well or something else is recommended?
It will handle that admirably. Great pickups. Lots of punch and clarity.
+John Huldt great man thanks for the response. Awesome playing and tone subscribed. Cheers from Brazil
Thank you sir. Let me know if/when you get those pups!
Will be ordering abraxas set soon for my Bacchus Les Paul Classic 😊 I'm choosing it over Mules cuz it's got more firepower on the bridge 😆
Let me know how you like them.
Will do. I've trying to pick between Mule or Abraxas. Eventually I found abraxas more chunky and that abraxas is also a mule with an extra kick
Great video, superb playing...what amp
are you using??
This is all played through the Kemper :)
That is fantastic...thank you!
Whats the name of song?
The Abraxas demo song?
damn good!
Thank you Mark!
Is this standard tuning?
Yes sir.
Sick
+Always Love Thank you :)
