It gave up the ghost a few months ago but the replacement has a much better camera. I bought it for the camera - as a reserve if the other two give up on me!
Hi Alan we visited and did the same walk as you after watching this video on a recent trip to mali losinj in Croatia made a great stop off on the way many thanks
Maria, one needs to be sure on one's feet. However I managed whilst holding my inconveniently shaped telephone to make the film. I suppose it could get rather wet and thus slippy there!
"According to the Slovenian constitution, the Italian language is co-official in the areas of Slovenian Istria where the Italian people have been traditionally present as an autochthonous population. According to law, all official signs are to be written in both languages, as should all public notifications. Italian is to be used in all public offices in the bilingual area. Beside Slovene language schools, there are also elementary, high and grammar schools with Italian as the language of instruction. At the state-owned University of Primorska, however, which is also established in the bilingual area, Slovene is the only language of instruction (although the official name of the university includes the Italian version, too). Italian can be used in the municipal assemblies of Koper, Izola and Piran, although in practice almost all discussions are carried out in Slovene."

That is great to read Alison! Thank you for letting me know!
Western Slovenia is so beautiful. I'd love to see it sometime.
I am not finished yet - more films to come. But this one is the best one!
thanks for sharing.
That waterfall"" interesting facts too" great travelog"
Hi Alan, Thank you for sharing. It is beautiful. How precarious is the hike to the water fall for someone in their 70's?

Have you seen this river in winter with snow? Was it still turquoise? Brilliant place to take stunning pictures! Which you probably did?

Mojca Črnigoj Thank you!!!! I wish I could travel there to see it for myself but thats a good alternative!
You are right ! Several persons can go on the bridge together ?
I think there is a weight limit as there is on every bridge - only this one has a much lower limit.
Hi, this is the once way to get to the waterfall, little afraid about bridge that is moving :)
I think the bridge makes it more exciting!
Slovenia is one of the prettiest countries on the Earth!
CAPORETTO
An amazing location.
Reminiscent of Tamriel!
I had to look up Tamriel!
Owner of this video, must be an American or Italian citizen the way how he speaks about the area he filmed on this video.
Neither as it turns out.
No way!!!
You need to use Sloveninan names, not Italian.... WTF!?
Clearly you did not listen to what I said.
