Probably the greatest TV series ever made. How this didn't last for 20 seasons and win a 1,000 Emmy Awards is beyond me!! Jealousy is the only excuse I can come up with. David Hasselhoff is a god in Germany. They worship the man! The Germans know not to hassle the 'hoff.
Anyone else get the feeling that a far more interesting story happened between Season 1 and season 2? What the hell happened that Mitch started investigating the Paranormal? Did a werewolf eat Garner and Destiny? Is that why they are nowhere to be seen? How did they hook up with Tieg? So many questions!

Well you know... baywatch nights season 2 was not the first the lifeguards dealt with the paramormal....there was a ghost episode in the main series...
Season 2 is a real disappointment to me. It's beyond the realms of normality and just makes the show look unrealistic. They should have kept with the same format as season 1 blending a realistic storyline, with some good banter and jokes between the main characters.
Donna being a lifeguard AND a club-owner (the club got retconned last season by the way) makes no sense (btw, The Hoff spells it Dona), and Garner is retconned to Charmed's Darryl "I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know" Morris. That's ... something.
Actually It was brought up again when Donna showed up on the main show. Donna's first day on the job Neely asked Mitch if she was the one that owned that nightclub "Nights." Mitch told Neely that she was but Donna decided to sell the club and become a full time lifeguard.
It's actually "ajogun". It's a general term for evil spirits or demons, but it doesn't originate in New Guinea. The ajogun are actually part of the mythology of the Yoruba people of West Africa. Whoever wrote this episode did NOT do their research.
I think I will start to watch again baywatch nights, I never get boring with this show..
I really liked season 2 more than the first. It went all supernatural, bat shit crazy.

Season 1 did terribly in the ratings/ viewership, so the producers did *all the cocaine* and decided to make it about monsters and shit.
