It's so sad to think this performance was shoot not a long time before Kurt's death. I have been thinking how many more similar performances he could have done. By then we knew he was a great artist, but his vocals weren't appreciated. I believe that during his 30s he would focus on making this kind of music, with an acoustic guitar. As much as i love listening to this album, it's a shame that it's only 12-13 songs... Such a talent, gone too soon. I am only 15 and i am thinking about him every day. He is my true inspiration to follow my artistic passion (not in music, but in general)

Crazy to think that it’s been 30 years. How quickly time just passes us by. What’s crazy is next year will also make it 30 years since Kurt has been gone, since Nirvana ended. His impact, and their Impact as a whole, is still felt to this day. Here’s to 30! 🍻

My teacher was in high school back then and she would beg her mom to watch it at 10pm and she watched it on tv and she was blown away ever since and of course she loved one song from one of there performance, “Man who sold the world”, this performance was her all time favorite

Thankful that that fan bought the guitar. Who knows how Kurt would have thought about that. Didn’t Kurt want Led Belly’s guitar too? He couldn’t afford it and asked Geffen if he could help purchase the guitar.

This album/performance means so much to me. Especially "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", used to listen to that all the time at school when I felt an anxiety attack coming on. I also really love the fact that he wanted it to look like a funeral. Morbid, yes, but it also made the performance feel a lot more personal to the audience (also the fact that most of the songs he chose also dealt with death... How did I not realize that before?) Kurt was such a great artist.

I have not long found nirvana but i am a fan now and always will be and i love linkin park so i know how nirvana fans feel about losing kurt so sad. But nirvana will always have fans that i am sure of.
And they fuckkn nailed about a girl and made it a hit song of sorts. Totally deserved that for that song. The unplugged version is ace

Love your videos but kurt answered "yes, okay" and not " thats exactly what i meant" when he was asked if he wanted the decoration like a funeral. Thats just what people made of it after his passing to make it fit to the suicide story. 🖤🖤🖤RIP ANGEL

Ok so when Frances gifted him the guitar it was for their marriage..he was BEYOND honored and actually plays the guitar. and it was sitting in a storage locker in NYC for YEARS until Frances and Isaiah visited it one day where he saw it and she casually asked if he wanted the guitar, and like i said he was like, "omg are you sure?!?!". Frances, unlike Courtney is NOT a materialistic person. After her and Isaiah split, Courtney had SAM LUTFI, HUGE piece of shit in the hollywood scene..and a bunch of his goons KIDNAP Isaiah and Beat the hell out of him to get the guitar back.. Courtney MUST be Broke because SO MUCH Kurt stuff is going up for auction soon...i know the pants he wore in the heart shaped box video are going up for sale. Frances is an awesome person and THANK GOD shes WAY more like Kurt. but damn 30 years. Fuck me im old. BTW, this album goes lovely with some magic mushrooms😍💯✌

nobody was kidnapped and nobody was beaten that is complete BS. There is audio of him on the 911 call saying he is fine and police concluded NOTHING happened.

Post Kurt was very Anti what Kurt stood for, 5.5 mil for a guitar? and the price house for the sweater? not to mention the best selling album was a MTV production, MTV made a ton and they are what is wrong with culture and lack of real music nowadays.
Wonderful life altering show though and my life would've been different without it, I would have never picked up guitar if it wasn't for Kurt but all the silly money for relics when all of us will just refer to the buyers as "some guy/some person" bought Kurt's blah blah. Anyone can play guitar and express themselves, be yourself, we all have influences but there's only one you. 😊

Isaiah may be a douche, I don’t know personally. But look into the story first. It’s not all it seems to be and Frances did give him the guitar. Not that it’s right to still have kept it, but he almost paid with his life.
