Fun fact: the original ending for Silver Blaze featured some serious fraud that would have gotten everyone in deep trouble with the gambling commissions. :D
There was A LOT of padding in these past 4 episodes. Feels like it could've easily been a 2 parter. We certainly didn't need the audio of the race. Makes me wonder how are they going to adapt something like Hound if a short story is this long.
I mean... maybe so, but I feel like it was long because it's the first chapter where they leave London, also because they adapt it as if it were reality, and that's why it's obviously not as short as in a book, there has to be more "filler" so that it is entertaining and makes sense as in reality, and those small moments help to strengthen the relationship between Sherlock and John, otherwise their friendship would not have much meaning, and it is a good strategy to entertain, I feel that it has a lot of the mystery and the interactions, in my opinion it is a good balance but the fact that it seemed long and with a lot of filler to you makes sense and I understand you, in a certain part I also think that it could have been done in three somewhat long parts, but in Personally, I am happy with the result. 💗💗
The horse racing make my heart jump even though I don't have much knowledge about British horse racing 🤩
Woo hoo! The horseshoe WAS the answer!
That's it, Sherlock, put the old windbag in a headlock!
