Enjoyable series. It's nice to see videos with the wives, kids and dogs. We live in the Hendersonville, NC area, so the wife and I roam all over in our 1st Gen Tacoma, but we haven't done this one yet. I'll show her these with the whole family and that will help me sell her on it. New subscriber.
Ouch!! That clunk sounded bad. Great. Video, looks like a great time. 👍😊
Glad I found this channel, nothing more fun than hangin out with some East Tennessee boys and their Families. Thanks for takin us along on your adventures. Till next time, "Keep on Jeepin"...
We really appreciate it!! Thanks for liking it!
Enjoyed the video's, fellers. Family, woods, 4X4's, beautiful East TN/West NC scenery...makes for a great video.
Thanks so much! We appreciate that.
Enjoyed watching your trip to Hurricane Creek. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing. Safe travels.
Liked and subscribed! WE have a trip up to my buddies mountain house in Waynesville. I was wanting to hit this trail. Thank you for the footage! You did a great job with this series.
Another great video! going from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive had to be an interesting challenge to get through the trail.
I just found your channel and I really like the way it is put together. Looking forward to wheeling back east next April when I come home for vacation.
Just started watching this, great video and what a great group of friends.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Great three video segments, well edited, fun and informative. Some place I want to go adventure to now.
We had some wicked rain out that way this year. Especially a couple months ago. I'm curious how bad it is currently. Thank you for showing that you can enjoy the trails while still respecting the land
Love it guys. Can't wait for the next one.
I know you're supposed to prepare for everything as much as possible but no one would ever think to prepare for a Toyota to break twice on one trip. ;) That's unheard of, lol.
These videos are great. The editing is on point. I’m glad I found this channel. This trail looks fun. I don’t live too far from there and one of the Jeep groups was going to go to this trail this weekend. Was scoping it out to see if I would make it out in my Jeep lol
Does Wayne know you can drive the Jeep without hangin out side the window!! The wheels go around without you watching them. Great Video, And Awesome that you just under 1000 subs, no commercials makes it a wonder video to watch!
Great video fellas! Looks like y’all had a great time!
good job guys/gals. like ur energy level too!!
Great job guys, I thought you did an awesome job and the video was on point, thank you i must do this trail on my way back from Alabama. Editing was on point as well…
Great video! That trail does feature some concerning moments, lol
It sure does!! 😆
Great video and nic music selection. I dig your video style and focus on people but also not forgetting the vehicles and landscape.
Thanks so much! We appreciate that! 👊🏻👊🏻
Sometimes ya just gotta stand in it. Thanks for the vid.
Great vid!!! I feel your wife we lifted a wheel at Black Bear Pass in my 4Runner near the drop off and it scared me good lol
Thank you!
Great video..It is the next trail I am doing.Try out Chestnut Mountain Rd when you can..It is a nice trail.
Looks a little narrow for my power wagon a few of us planning to go the end of February
Me and my dad use to deer hunt on the creek when we WER the trail wasn’t near as rough and that bus was brought in by bear hunters to camp in it use to be a whole lot rocker than it is now
Going here solo in my gladiator this weekend. Have a13,5000 winch hopefully I won't have to use.
Just found you Michigan 🤗🇺🇸
Good video. Thanks for showing how to get onto hurricane creek. I have seen some other videos of this trail but no one has shown how to get into this it.
We appreciate that. Thanks for watching Randy.
Great video!
Thank you!
My brother an I are heading up there tomorrow!
Good video guys
Thank you for the love!
The bus yap it’s still there that’s where my wife cut her knee Going down to the creek lol I really enjoyed the climb out at the top did y’all go back out through Harmons Dan or back out towards Tennessee
I’m pretty sure we went out towards the Harmons Den way if I can remember right lol
You should have come out in fines creek
Cool vids!!! I'm new to the 'topic' as a 50 year old guy making his 2019 Ford Ranger 'overland' capable...
How is it going so far? I have a 90 suburban that I'm working on.
I love the new ranger builds there are a few on UA-cam that I have seen doing well
You should limit ur turning while in 4wd I have a 99 4runner on 35s with 5.29 gears and Spartan lockers front and rear i have to put it in 2wd just to turn sometimes you’ll break cv axles and like seen in this video you can blow up ur front diff also on a 3rd gen if you lift it I highly recommend these bigger cv axles that are built for lifts if anyone’s interested I can send a link to them
I did that trail last year on a KTM 890 Adventure with my wife and all our camping gear. Not fun.
Was this your first time to HC? The upper section above the mud pits and hill climb (ill tell you wear if you want to dm me) used to be much hairyer. appreciate yall boys being respectful of our land and not tearing it up, welcome in WNC anytime!
Looks great, would a 250 tremor fit down there, Or is it too tight?
Should have finshed off at Max Patch
That exactly what we want to do next time! Thanks for watching!!👍
Nice vid! What tires do you guys run out there? Standard off-road classics? Got any favorites?
I was running falcon wild peak A/T. Just got a set of milestar Patagonia M/T and can’t wait to try the out! Shawn is running general A/T I think on his wj.
Did you come across anything that the stock jeep couldn't handle?....and have any of you ever ran on a set of bfgoodrich KO2's?
I would say a stock wrangler don’t know what kind of jeep you’re talking about would do pretty good up there and not have issues depending on where you go the KO2 do great
How much air pressure you had on your tires?
Bus was probably left by hunters. Years ago it would have made the drive no problem. If not then some country boy drug it out there with the tractor! More than one old road around here I've seem something like that
What size tires are on the wj? I'm pretty much at my limit. And those look bigger. Also. Does it have upcountry suspension. That's the tallest wj I've ever seen to have no lift
Lol my wj has a 2" spacer lift for now hoping to go with a 4 and 1/2 or a 6in long arm setup. I am running a 265/70/17 general grabber a/t and I cut all 4 wheel wells to open it up a bit the wjs have a small wheel well I'm hoping to go to a 35 or 37" tire once I get the lift
@@theoverlandbrothers5710 check us out at poormans Jeep depot hands down best price for off-road parts
nice Cherokee
Thank you! Hope to have lots more to come for it need a bigger lift
@@theoverlandbrothers5710 I have an 04 WJ Limited I ride forest roads with in N Ga. it’s all stock right now. Like the way yours looks.
Did y’all come out on Dogit?
Pretty sure we came out at Harmons Den
you know if the gates ever close?
When we went certain gates were closed.
I ran out of gas and had to leave it.
😂
It's a shame it became a 2Runner.
It's all good it's back to a 4runner again lol
