- Ruby, a lower-middle-class girl was made to believe that she is beautiful, intelligent, and different and that she deserves a worthy husband. She completed her studies and wanted to be a career girl. However, the marriage happened contrary to her expectations with a traditional man Vivek of the similar lower middle-class strata. After giving birth to a girl child she revolted and joined an advertising company to shape up her career. Here begins the nightmare.

This is because females are bound to marry at a certain age, while they want to build themselves but society does not allow and she feels it is bcoz she is being chained in a relationship. Nice film. reality of relationship today especially when women are emancipated. Life is such a tragedy that at times the man is not able to provide material riches to his wife and the wife starts demeaning her husband in all sorts of words for this. A loving husband takes all the shit without a word. But the women start cursing her fate for having married such a loser. Here she went astray and came back, but in most cases, such relationships create a void resorting to lack of open communications and maintaining silence often like two dead people staying under one roof.
