    This machine moved me into the real production model of the business. Can't say enough about it, except buy it as soon as you can.

    Little trick for us detailers out there I started doing this. Take a 1-2 clean rags or semi dirty ones and put them over the center when extracting much easier to clean less mess

    You will love that machine. I recommend you use distilled water only in it. This will keep you from having to descale the unit due to mineral build up also it will make your pump and heater last a lng time.

  • @KennyCosway
    @KennyCosway 3 роки тому +14

    The heater actually gets up to temp in 3 minutes - at first, please wear gloves if you're not use to the heat - also, you don't need as many passes as the toy extractors - as she said there is a LEARNING CURVE - enjoy and have fun :) PS. 1 wet pass and then 1 dry pass (50/50) helps the heater keep up. Also PS#2 It's way better if you fill it with HOT water around 140-150 degrees but no hotter than 150

      Just got my 8070. Water sprays hot for 5 seconds, then turns cold. This can’t be normal????

    • @KennyCosway
      @KennyCosway 3 роки тому +1

      @@marksafady1059 Mark you have to use hot water in your Mytee. Fill it with hot water, spray for 5 seconds then turn the heater on then wait 3 minutes. Now you're good. 1 wet pass is NOT 5 seconds. Do 1 wet then 1 dry.

    • @marksafady1059

      @@KennyCosway Chelsea said in the video that her water stayed hot the whole time. Did she initially fill with hot water? And she wasn’t shy with using the pump.

    • @KennyCosway
      @KennyCosway 3 роки тому +1

      @@marksafady1059 SHE did not hold the trigger open the entire time cleaning the car, When you let go of the valve and spray no water that is when the water heats up. I have been using and selling extractors for 30 years and I am a Mytee dealer. Your dealer should have taught you how to use the machine. We never let a customer leave without full training.

    • @marksafady1059
      @marksafady1059 3 роки тому +1

      @@KennyCosway I’m not saying she held the trigger the entire time, but she pulled it somewhat frequently. I’ll try adding hot water. I think hot water may be a bit overrated.🤷🏻‍♂️Chemical and process seems like it’d be more important.

    Chelsea, congrats for your new Maytee. I have the same machine. I use 2 Oz of Grimebreaker in 1 water galón as pre-spray, let work for 10 minutes give a little agitation and after that, rinse wirh 2 Oz per galón of Propel.(pH 3 ácid pH) Wich neutralize Grimebreaker ( alkaline pH 9). This are Soklene Products wich are Made un California US. Also, let me tell You, i use to put some waterproff lubricant on the triger. Some w40 on bronze conections. Hope that help You to maintein in good condition your machine.

    Excellent points, I just upgraded to the Sandia heated 3 gallon. Your views about the wand, overspray and arm fatigue are on point but the results trump that I find. Great information! I've been wanting this exact extractor. Do you know if the electrical outlet your using is a 15 or 20 amp breaker? I wish the spray head had some side walls to keep the overspray from going out the sides.

      @attention2detailswchelsea  3 роки тому +2

      I think its a 20 amp breaker but I'll have to ask my husband. 🤣 and yes I wish it had a sidewall too. Miss that from my aqua pro vac. Might look into the steel sprayer to see if it fixes that and is less bulky
