When I first heard this song some years ago, I thought it was an amazing number. But now, it has a totally new meaning to me now. I lost a kidney from being robbed and shot. I survived three surgeries and was in the hospital for two months. I was released November 24, 2021. Now, this coming November I have another surgery to endure. This song, 😒 really has a totally new meaning to me now.
An angel made this song play for me on the radio yesterday...They saw me tell a helper at the eyeglass store that it was so depressing how old I look now...I told her "Don't get old." She said "I don't think I have a choice. ( I was trying to find glasses and forced to look in the mirror repeatedly and confront how old I look now.) I told her I'm trying to find glasses that make me look less old and not look mad or mean etc. I told her that I've been depressed lately and not smiling for so long, and also dieting, that my whole face shape changed... When I got back in my car, this song came on the radio. I used to listen to this song over and over, years ago. I love this song and it was definitely an intentional gift.
