The water supply is 3 inch. Then the exit hose (the black one) is 2" I believe. Definitely loads of pressure with that drop in size, yet plenty of volume. Best of luck thanks.
Hey Kapper, watering is a good thing in the heat, but for you to have more easy hose to work with, Use that one a feed hose then add, 2" or down to 1" if needed, as a work hose that makes it easier to handle overall, then use a steel post there with this type rotating water dispenser you can get from every hardware store there, then its just connect up and real out the hose, then make a tripod or notch mount "BOX bar in Alu" and a 15" allu plate tilted a few degrees, with to 3" pins set up, that makes it easy the hook the one end of the hose connector true/bethween those pins and manual spin the wheel as you real up the hoses after usage, takes 30 min to make and makes the ease to the daily chores. and keep up the goods work, for thew animals, and you will have a very sweet hunting season with good venison.
My buddy that ordered me the setup is going to get me a 2" hose with a nozzle, but it will be a firm/garden type hose so it should be much easier to handle. Then we'll take it from there! Thanks.
Get a ag stand sprinkler with 3/4 " nozzles About 100- 120' circle - Or find (at an auction) some 20' aluminum field sprinklers - should be able to run 6 or more. I kept some when I went to center pivots so I could put up a water wall if there was a forest fire from the Federal land next door.
Yeah, a sprinkler like that is on my list... Seems I've broke the bank for quite awhile on the house and mini..:) But very good things to be broke on! :)
Dnr would love it .. why not just build a snow fence and funnel it underneath your deer stand if a deer can't see over the fence they will not jump it. FYI
Invest in a high pressure high volume pump. Northstar makes a GREAT 3" high pressure high volume fire fighting pump that can be used for this. Over 200ft of head
The dear and other wildlife are happy until hunting season (for food, not trophy's I hope) starts. Is there a yearly limit of dear, ducks, quale, ect...?
Nice job and thinking, Kap. I didn't realize you had the pump. That's definitely good planning. Do you have a pump system set-up for your house & garage if anything crazy occurs? You have an excellent water source available. My house is surrounded by woods and a water source is crucial. Thumbs up.
Thanks bud. No I don't have any kind of system in place, except for the big pump, but I do have the Water for emergencies, with a water purifier kit in storage! :)
What size hose and nozzle are you using. I am trying to get a maximum spray from the 3 in hose.

i have a 2 in gas pump , harbor fright pump , can i use it to a water hose to bath horses with it ??
Looks great bud! Your on the right path, you would need to pump around 27,154 gallons of water to equal 1" of rain per acre. Some is better than none.

yes, I need to work out an easier way, but it's still in its infancy! I'll try to figure out what you are referring to. thanks

I could stand with a Hose for a few hours in exchange for a mini . .
Batting for deer is legal?
growing forage is not baiting - it's QDM!
