From missing seagull playing soldier in tf2 to never truly playing pharah in overwatch, I’d love to see him try hard on pharah and take it hyper serious again.
I think it's painfully obvious that very few remember how to counter a pharah / mercy combo since it's used very little anymore. But watching Seagull playing pharah again is magical. It's like poetry in motion.
@@reggieisnotadog4841 I have no idea what rank I would be in, I haven't played ranked in a very long time. But I seem to get matched with a lot of players in that rank in QP. And I haven't seen much of the pharmercy combo. Then again, I don't play very much either.
Yup. Genji meta was fun to watch. Hanzo specifically is fun to watch and pharah is meta on certain maps, fun to watch. To that end, pharah is teensy bit more viable without a mercy these days which is very nice.
Thank you for the content, I'd forgotten the reason I like Pharah so much, but from the aerial combat to the versatility of her movement tool I need to play her more, she seems so much fun
There is just something about FPS gamers and that huge blind spot between 80 and 90 degrees above them, even better because most don't seem to be able to properly hear pharah and echo positioning.
Its not really a blind spot, its that hitscans and people on the ground are getting hit by someone on the air AND people on the ground. Pharah only looks down, so she doesnt "multi task". Any pharah player just positions where you can't get hit by people that is looking just 60º up. Also aiming up when strafing is way worse than aiming down when moving sideways in the air. Thats why when Echo goes up in the air, she has the advantage and generally Pharahs crap themselves :D
@@Rainmaker_ES Echo counters Pharah because laser is easy to land and burst even through Mercy pocket. Easier to land few shots mid air + beam as Echo than hit Pharah multiple times from the ground. Without pocket she is a joke, but with pocket it's pretty tough to kill her.
@@Harevald "easy to land", yeah under ideal conditions, but the beam is close range. Echo counters Pharah for the reasons I said, but you have to be able to "surprise" her. If a good Pharah sees you coming, you are not getting nowhere near to use the beam and you get blasted in 2 shots. Many heroes are "meh" without a pocket but hard to kill with one, you are not discovering anything :D
@@Rainmaker_ES I don't know, I saw many times people struggle for minutes to counter Pharah Mercy with hitscans only to go Echo and roll her. And that's in the GM lobbies where people can aim. The thing about Echo is she can chase Pharah pretty much anywhere on the map unlike hitscans, so even if Pharah is correctly playing her vertical cover, Echo can close the gap even above roofs etc. And yes, laser is easy to track with, it's pretty big hitbox and massive damage. The trick is to land those few stickies and immediately follow up with laser. If you are against some really good Pharah you may need pocket on your own to burst her. But yeah, generally speaking I think it's easier to counter pharah with Echo than hitscans. People don't do that because not many players play Echo at all and don't feel comfortable swapping
No. The difference between 90 degree WASD and joystick 360 degree range is pretty negligible because she's only moving base speed and her move skills are bursts of movement in a single direction.
Finally, someone abusing the shit out of Pharah's mobility. Most people just float miles away, spamming from safety, ignoring her ability to bypass chokes and materialise in the backline better than any flanker
pharah mercy has been my least favorite combination of heroes since the game launched it's not even that it's overpowered or anything - it's just super boring to play against
He pre barraged. He predicted it. He knew where the Soldier was gonna go. He says it even. When he heard visor, he immediately barraged the spot and soldier walked into the barrage basically.
Hey Seagull I love your content and have been following you on twitch since OW1 release. I want to watch these videos but I can't. The cuts are too sudden and sharp and they give me a headache. If it's possible to smooth them out, please do so in the future. Keep up the great work!
Seagull was a menace soldier back in TF2. No wonder he’d be a scary Pharah in ow
roaming solly makes you so good at video games
2016 comments be like
@@antsdotl hmm… plat for sure
@@Milkra thing is i am bad at roamer so it checks out
Seagull played Pharah at a very high level early on in OW1. It was around then he was known as one of the best projectile players.

Your pharra content was the reason I started watching. Glad to see the bird take back to the sky’s!
Sky’s???
I’ve recently started playing phara on those dense city maps, I’ve been having loads of fun with her.
Seagull killed an Ana and Mercy before that guy could say "they have ana mercy"
👍
That charge on the Genji made me spit out my food. I can't
Ogs remember that envy picked seagull to play phara for them against sdb
As a phara main i enjoyed this very much... Once a year ppl remember phara is in the game.
nice direct shots on 3rd. surgical.

I could watch Seagull play Genji and Pharah all god damn day.

The ball getting a triple kill at the end XD
GGs Seagull in his natural environment, shitting destruction from the skies.

Crazy how that 2nd round was lost

Seagull asked for the team to stop C9-ing. Then the second round, the Rein C9’d harder than any C9 other than the original C9…that’s tough.
The sliding scale of casual C9 versus ogC9.
sorry but that Genji death stole the show, that's so funny
4:30 same laugh lmao
The whole video was crazy shots, awesome shit
The soldier in him has reawakened
3:13 "you're outclassed" not wrong
Seagull carrying so hard his own mercy's shoulders got a little bigger
Is playing with Subtitles/Captions worth? I’ve watched seagull play for a while now & have always wondered but never asked
Seagull's team handling their point control and ult manage like a bunch of diamonds. Hard loss on what should have been an easy win.
Alternative title: Seagull Bully's Soldier 76
Pharmercy is just a menace on every rank, huh...
QP as well.
Damn u cooking the the good shit
"Are you really playing in spawn?" Says the guy chilling at the top of the sky box with a pocket mercy
2:57 they have ana mercy. 2:59 Seagull theyre dead
oh my lucio flick
PLEASE let this be a phase seagull. im begging
Roamer becoming pharah main. Destiny manifests itself...
I really wish I could be impressed by Phara I just cant. Takes about 10 IQ to master and with 100 % pocket in majority of the games.
Orangewatch is back!
I always wonder if Pharah is easier to move with on MnK than controller. Seems like it, but I can never be sure lol.

Pharah is super fun but ONLY when you have a Mercy pocket lol it's impossible otherwise

Ooooooh, the Tracism returns!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
her rework completely ruined her
They really need to nerf kirikos headshot dmg. She’s a support and not a dps hero.
Bruh no cap idk how mercy players even enjoy the game 💀
your team really pissed me off
damn great game loss is rough
I think zen is a better dps then dva
pharah mercy has been my least favorite combination of heroes since the game launched

I agree.
It's heartening to see that a lot of people at all ranks have a problem looking up. 😁
NA server Yzn
Just looks to me like they're not shooting at you.
It's fun when you don't have to try.
I wonder who at Blizzard though to make a hero with high damage with medium mobility and other hero with wings with no-aim staff.
How the fuck does Seagull get away with barraging a soldier from 20 meters away with visor on
He pre barraged. He predicted it. He knew where the Soldier was gonna go. He says it even. When he heard visor, he immediately barraged the spot and soldier walked into the barrage basically.
