Hello I just subscribed 😊 could you possibly answer a question for me? I have been natural for almost 4 yrs I’m still trying to figure out the wash and go🙄 a big issue I’m having is puffy roots regardless how much product I put there…is it a hydration issue? And if so how do I go about fixing it?
You may want to watch the other two videos. I touched on these in detail in the other wash and go videos. It’s either that you have too much water or not enough product.

Can I ask… are you saying that naturally lighter colored hair is more prone to tangles? And if that is the case do you recommend occasional protein treatments?
Sandy brown, sandy blonde and sandy red. The best way to combat this challenge is to have a consistent routine with the right products. Protein Treatments aren't necessary on this hair characteristic unless excessive heat will be applied.
@@LavidaLovesCoils thank you! While my hair is not necessarily those colors… I do notice it gets lighter in the sun and it is prone to tangles. I love the advice you provide on your channel! Thank you!
@@t.harris6054 you would probably fall into this category. Start your foundation off right. Clarifying cleanser, hydrating shampoo and water-soluble conditioner. Check your water quality as well. Outside if your question, I see people being more concerned with styling products, a leave-in conditioner, and oil and disregard the foundation of haircare. We don’t need oil and we don’t need leave-in conditioner… generally. Emollients are necessary but when they are properly formulated. We treat our skin by cleansing first. This rule is applicable to hair as well. Thank you so much for watching and chiming in!
@@LavidaLovesCoils no thank you! I was following the 30 day detox guide… brought new shampoo and conditioner ( AG Balance and Boost) and found that the AG was too strong for a 7 day wash for my hair. Ended up buying the Innersence Hydration shampoo and my hair is no longer as tangled! Well I am still trying to perfect my technique but I am learning so much from your channel! I will check into my water because it is likely hard!
@@t.harris6054 I don’t recommend AG Balance and I only recommend AG Boost on more flat and smooth textured. I only stock maybe 2 bottles of balance because it’s extremely stripping. I only recommend it to break up a cast on specific hair types but one must follow up with a hydrating shampoo. I don’t particularly like the innersense hydrating line and I don’t find it to be conducive to hydrating more coarse strands and tighter coils abs curls. Our principles are aligned but I recommend other products to get people where they need to be. Some of those product recommendations aren’t “heavy” enough to first smooth down rippled outer textures then clump together. I will have more content coming. If you sign up for my email list I have a preview download of my guide. The digital interactive guide is being revised along with a companion product guide. The guide will talk about the pros and cons of each of these products. Very robust.
