Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my channel and for watching this video. Please consider leaving a comment telling me if you enjoyed it or not. I don't mind criticism or suggestions, but I only ask that you be courteous. If you enjoy seeing man vs. rust, then please give this one a view -- ua-cam.com/video/bsspy-oR4do/v-deo.html. Thanks again and I will see you in the next one! 🍻
I love your channel. And I have watched every furniture restoration and metal restoration channels there are. I love that you are so good at problem solving on a budget, like making your own blast furnace. I love that you aren't making anything to sell, just because it's fun for you (and me to watch) like a croquet set. I love that you live where there's a train in your backyard and a church with bells and cicadas chirping at night. You're real. And I love that you made your own rust solution that works better than any product on the market. And you can do everything without fancy tools! Blacksmithing, welding, woodworking, and rescuing stray dogs. If you're wondering why you don't have more subscribers, I wonder if it's because women like furniture restoration and men like metal/tool restoration - your focus audience is not as focused as it should be to get the numbers? But I like seeing you do both, so what do I know? Well, back to binging all 57 of your videos.
Thank you for the very thoughtful message. It makes me happy to know that you enjoy so many facets of the channel. I agree with you about the audience demographics and I've leaned towards furniture for the most part in the last year or so. I've got a ton of projects in the queue and although most of them are furniture, I'll sneak in the occasional woodworking tool refurbishment! I am glad that you enjoy both types of projects. You are correct, the taste of men and women are different according to my YT analytics. Thank you for the support and I'll see you in the next one!! Hopefully soon... 🌻
Thank you! I could not believe that I was not able to open these at first with just some muscle. Even after all of the treatments, I had to use all of my strength with the crowbar to get the blades to break apart. Once they broke, a little oil was all it took! Thanks for visiting the channel and for the nice comment. 🍻
Evapo-Rust would have taken all the rust off the whole thing the first time! It's the best rust remover I have found. But you have to make sure to oil it when done. It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it!! Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
All that hard work to take it apart and all you needed was a little penetrating oil. :) So was that being determined or being stubborn? ;) Seriously though, very nicely done!!!
I like to think it is a healthy balance of determination and stubbornness with a touch of insanity. I guess I will lead with the penetrating oil next time. I knew there had to be a reason everyone on UA-cam sprays a bucketful on their rusty parts. Thanks for the feedback! 🍻
Desculpe... Boa sorte ! P.S.
Vou lembrar disso no próximo! 🍻
I get that. I debated whether or not to use it. If you go back and watch my other projects, I usually do not, but I was curious on this one to see how well it can create a smooth surface for painting. I am prepping to restore an old car and filler will be absolutely necessary but I don't have much experience with it. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! 🍻

Man v Rust .. MAN WINS!
Nice restoration!
You got that right! Thanks!!
Very nice that you restored the heat treatment.
As I’ve always said starting right now…buying a new one is NOT the point. Great job!!!
Thanks! This one works great now, but I almost lost it halfway through.
Very nice rebuild. I really felt your pain as they won't open in the beginning. Thanks for sharing.

That looked like a challenge getting them open 👍 you did a brilliant job on those, love the colour choice 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks! 🤙 🍻
Nice job. It was 'fun' to see you fighting that rust in the first part LOL.
Thanks! I am a little embarrassed how long it actually took me to do that. You only saw a fraction of the war but it's all good in the end. 🍻
Great work as usual. You worked really hard to get this back in working order! 😀
Thank you very much!
Unbelievable! What an amount of effort!

Amazing ! And that blue colour is very nice :)
Thanks! No lie, the can of paint was probably 15 years old. It didn't spray that well but it got the job done and I used it all up so bonus! 🍻
Fantastic!
Thank you! This one was a bit of a challenge!
Wow!! Niiiiice work mate.
Thank you!! 🍻
Great job

Signifigant work....
This one was a lot of work for sure. Thanks!
Great job! I always say you just need to be 2% smarter than your opponent!!
Thanks!! It was a heck of a battle.
Back from the Dead! They give up on Human Patients long before this..!
Haha! I almost called time of death about half way through but I don't get legitimate reasons to play with acid very often so...
Very good 😍
Thanks 😊
Love this video! Very informative! What ever triggered you to get into restoring old things? You seem very patient!

Wow. They live on for another 50 years
Let's hope so! Thanks for the nice feedback. Peace! ✌🏽
Nem acreditei que daria certo.
Eu também não! Fiquei tentado a desistir!
You paid 50c too much for them but did a great job restoring them.
Well it was actually a whole dollar for this and something else probably not worth 50c either so maybe I got the shaft! Thanks for the comment. 🍻

Oh no not the bondo scissors
Don't be hating on the Bondo. If it is good enough to hold my car together, it will do for some cheap shears! Cheers! 🍻
I cant help but I hate it when someone uses filler, I would much rather see some dents, gives it character.

Why didn't you show them working!!!!??? Nice restoration otherwise.
