I loved this movie. I already watched it twice. Like the reviewer said, this isn't Beavis & Butthead who has aged & adapted to the times. This is 2022 having to deal with 90's Beavis & Butthead. Brilliant job Mike Judge.

Just watched it first thing this morning. I may actually dare to say it was even funnier than the original one! Perfect balance of nostalgic B&B humor with modern references. Mike Judge never lost his touch!

Just took a vacation this weekend with my wife to visit her family. My father in law who is in his late 60s watched it with me Sunday night and we laughed the whole time. My mother in law walked in as we were watching and laughed and said "is that Beavis and Butthead?" I have the greatest wife and in-laws that I could have ever imagined.

It’s such a simple formula it’s impossible to screw it up and unlike those other franchises Mike judges has always been in Charge.
I'd like to see this B and B movie outsell the new Tom Cruise/Top Gun movie. That would be a blast.
I mean none of the original creators of those franchises had a hand in the sequels. Mike Judge had a hand in this and the 2011 reboot which is why Beavis and Butthead held up.

The White Privilege part had me dying! :D They totally nailed it (hehe). Glad to see these two lovable idiots back in action (hehe hehe). Boing!!! Hate that many of the other characters didn't have roles, but they had that quick cameo group shot which was nice.
I thought it was hilarious. I was disappointed that Anderson wasn't in it and even though it had a couple Black Sabbath songs in it, it could've useful a bit more heavy metal but other than that it was great.

I enjoyed it way more than I was expecting to. Really well done. The college campus part was my favorite. "This is what we were taught, sir". After seeing so many of my favorite franchises get butchered lately, I was concerned. But it turned out to be amazing.

Last week, the new TMNT game released and now Beavid and Butthead made an epic comeback. It's been an awesome week for nostalgia.
game is a ton of fun, especially with friends.
When it's with 6 people, it becomes chaotic in the best way possible. Definitely reminds me of the ole arcade days. Hopefully I'll see you on there friend.

We Waited Forever for The Return of Beavis and Butt Head Movie!
I've been a massive fan of Beavis and Butt-Head since I was a kid. For the most part, my taste in humour has changed over the years (I'm now 34) but man, these two make me laugh more than anything else. I didn't even know they had made a new movie, I just watch it a few days ago and it may be the funniest thing I've seen in well over a decade. The last two years have really dragged the happiness out of me and this made me feel alive again. Mike Judge is a genius. Thank you!

Not exactly sure that's what they were making fun of. See, when beavis and butthead do something, you're usually NOT supposed to agree with it because. If anything, the movie was making fun of actual people who very much do exist who use it to justify their shitty behavior. If I happen to be wrong, then my apologies, but Mike Judge isn't a chud.

Funny how years ago that Beavis and Butt-Head including parents and even some politicians and some critics hate the show because it was "mindless" and "stupid". Yet in hindsight it was awesome. And now for most successful films before or critically acclaimed films, now suck, yet Beavis and Butt-Head is forever 😂

I thought it was hilarious! I laughed the entire movie. I don't remember laughing that much at any movie in a very very long time. I don't care what critics think. it’s the 90’s fan base & Audience that matters. Critics are wrong mostly & mostly humorless anyway. We need stupid humor to take mind off awful things in the world & unwatchable garbage that most mainstream movies are nowadays.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was! Literally watched it just now right after seeing Top Gun: Maverick…gotta say that “Do the Universe” gives it a run for its money and takes the second place spot handily in the realm of Legacy sequels I’ve seen in the past few years. Was a real treat watching both of these films back to back, what a day!
I've been waiting over 25 years for the sequel of that Do America movie and now here we are. That movie was cool. heheheheheh.
I did wish for a "Do the World" movie where they almost cause a WWIII or nuclear war, but that didn't happen but would've been a very funny premise.

I was not optimistic , soon as he said "we're finally about to score" I couldn't hold back my laugh. Most of what I watched as a kid I didn't understand anyway and most of the music was just ahead of me. Something about these characters though, they were fun to draw yourself, when I was young I was inspired to be a cartoonist but life happened.
When I saw new Beavis and Butt-Head I didn't hesitate to watch .

This movie was awesome. I felt a joy I haven’t felt watching any Movie in a long time. Butt-Head is actually a really suave with those amazing one liners…. No spoilers here but I laugh all the way to the end. This Movie “in my opinion” would have been successful on the Big Screen. I really enjoyed it.
I really liked the movie. It was actually hilarious. It wasn't just one or two good jokes... it was a good story and it did the whole series justice. I hope they continue doing episodes using the storyline.

I waited till 3am for this to release and man o man I got to say it was funny as I thought it would be,. The jokes and pacing was great. It felt like connecting with old friends again that you had not seen in awhile,. And everything felt fresh again,. When there taught white privilege LoL they take it and run with it oh my. Jokes abound this film is amazing

@@Spider_Mike023 The reboot was just like the original series in its style of humor. However, it didn't translate well to Millennial /Gen-Z audiences. The same could be said for the most recent Jackass movie.
I pray That MTV or any network puts their comeback on. The 2011 show was my favorite show, it was laugh out loud hilariously funny it was gone in a flash. MTV just put out garbage shows in its place from then on. I am hoping from everything I’m hearing about the movie it is looking really good for a comeback. Even Howard Stern said on his Sirus This Beavis & Butt-Head Movie was the only movie he had been excited to see in really long after him & Robin how awful so called current popular hits where pure Garbage they had watched over their break, a few weeks ago show. He has massive audience of millions of people & him saying that & calling so called mainstream Trendy movies garbage & this movie the movie the only movie worth seeing. I was shocked he was 100% correct & all his big Hollywood friends & the people that green light new shows all heat that.

It was a wonderful throwback to the past. Not just that, but the ending was so classic Beavis and Butthead, and their misfortune.
I saw it twice yesterday and I enjoyed every moment of it ...I even QUICKLY noticed that Beavis' voice had grown slightly deeper 🤣...I will watch it again later💪

It had its moments ...I thought Do America was better but my fave parts in this one were 1) the lady astronaught telling Beavis how many had been before him, 2) being introduced to Smart Beavis...3) the attack on white privilege.

We needed Beavis and Butthead: Do the Universe. Alot had changed since 1998. Today, we're hypersensitive and offended by everything. I think brining back Beavis and Butthead we needed a fresh start. I've watched them while I was kid and I'm extremely thankful that I did!! Two dudes couldn't even make sense of "2022." Something we all couldn't figure out neither. Thank you, Mike Judge!

The movie is exactly what i hoped it would be.
I love it when a movie can genuinely surprise you with how good it is. I was a mild fan back in their heyday, so I wasn't expecting much. My wife was never a fan at all. We both laughed out loud almost the entirety of it. Mike Judge is a comedic treasure!
