Loved the shot of the bobbin thread getting picked up!
Thank you🤘😎 I thoutht that it might be helpful to show that part as well
Mi taller vuelve a levantar puntería.
Hi there, nice to read that you also got a TYPICAL Walking Foot Machine! It is a real work horse, by the way! Keep up your Projects and keep me posted🤘😎
Great vid, just found out I am threading my machine correctly except for the hole in the needle collar - cant believe ive been missing that this entire time!
Would love a video on properly setting the tension for V69 thread and the walking foot thickness control knobs.
Hi there can you make a video on how to connect the top thread to the bobbin thread?😢
Your sewing machine looks like Robocop and mine looks like Asimo ;P
Anyway, this summer I managed to sew my first bikepacking bag thanks to your inspiring videos. I really appreciate them!
Hi and big thanx that I could have been such an Inspiration for you🤘😎 even Asimo is cool! So always keep up your work and hobby! Cheers and stay tuned!
I found this vid searching for info about the serv 7 needle I sew webbing & Velcro & thick assemblies sometimes so I think it will help. There’s not a lot of info out there about when to use it or not. I have a sailrite walking foot machine so the threading is a little different but also the bobbin spins the other direction than how you loaded yours. Just curious if that is related to the type of thread or material you sew or if that is how it is supposed to be threaded. Thanks!
Cooles video 👍
Well, I never encountered that problem... But hey, even I am still a Learner... Cheers
🎉🎉🎉
Ok, after some time with this machine, do you recommend it or is there something else you would recommend? I am thinking of buying it and it's relatively cheap.
@@zamocno I highly recommend this Machine because it is also affordable for beginners or starters😎
@@AdventureGearProjects And what would be a step further? Maybe you can make a video about that ;) But seriously, what more do you need? What would be your next choice?
@@zamocno well, I gonna consider that for the future
What is the machine's long-term performance? Why did you choose to purchase Typical? Would you purchase it again or choose something different? Is it capable of handling heavier materials, like multiple layers of webbing? In comparison to the more well-known Juki 1541 or Consew 206, how would you rank it? Thanks.
Well, I bought my TYPICAL GC 6-7D back in 2019 and I would definitely buy it again. It can handle layers up to 1cm... No matter if webbing or fabric. This machine is a three way Transport that is supposed for heavy upholstery and I built many backpacks and pouches with it. Consew is just the US Version of TYPICAL and their Models are almost the same in construction as I know from my base. With Juki I have no experience so far. But hell yeah, I love this machine and it is still running peefectly without any problems so far.
@@AdventureGearProjects Thank you so much for your input. It seems the machine is working well for you. Could you let me know if there was any maintenance needed for the GC 6-7D during these five years? Do you believe that upgrading to the more costly GC 20608-1 model-which has a vertical hook meant for heavy upholstery work-will be beneficial when sewing nylon tactical gear, or will it be overkill? Thanks.
What HP motor is it?
It is a 550W servo motor with needle positioner
Advantages vs the Singer? I am thinking of buying a singer heavy duty and I want to compare these two
Well the Singer Heavy Duty Machine is a tough Machine bit no camparison to a Walking Foot Machine when it comes down to many layers of 1000D Cordura and there is no Attachment Threat on the Singer Heavy Duty Machine for Binders. I would recommend a Sailrite LSZ1 Machine for the Heavy Stuff. But the Singer is a good Machine to start with😎
@@AdventureGearProjects mine is used on leather but It keeps on jumping and the material doesn't move when sowing
I'm considering the singer heavy as well. if you did go with the singer can you let me know how it worked for you?
@@hdbviap I have the singer heavy duty. It's nothing compared to an industrial machine. The Heavy duty part is basically false advertising. It is a normal household machine. I ordered the Sailrite Fabricator. Things is a BEAST!
Moin.
Price?
The machine costs round about 1600€ with this configuration
