You have to have the custom gamemode unlocked. Theres a random button in the custom game settings. It should be a picture of a dice iirc

in house maps, the hallways are perfectly fine for ghost rooms. the maps that are really large (high school, sunny meadows, prison) cannot have a hallway ghost room as they are just too large
