  • The following is a lecture by Dr. Leon Botstein entitled, "Music and Its Public: Vienna 1870-1918." Botstein is an accomplished Swiss-American conductor and current president of Bard College in New York.
    This lecture was originally recorded at Camden County College, in 1998, as part of a Botstiber Austrian-American lecture series.
