Travis is actually a shy country farm boy that grew up on a dairy farm that his fam still owns and operates. I know this because my sister lives next door and knows the fam. My mums wake was recently held in their barn. And no, Travis wasn't there, but his parents were. Their very lovely, humble, private people.
Agreed, it's unfortunate he demanded to be written off the show and killed off so he could go to horrible movies that flopped and he is now acting like he doesn't like acting 😂. He made a horrible buisness decisions and should continued Vikings, would have been a way better show.
He demanded to be written off the show and killed off so he could do horrible movies that flopped. That's what happened, now he's acting like he doesn't like acting to save face. He made a horrible business decision leaving Vikings, that's the truth.
@@jtplumbing6592 Wrong! If the tv show followed real life events more correctly then Ragnar would have been killed a lot sooner, but because Travis was so beloved as Ragnar then Michael Hirst wrote the character to last longer than he should have! As stated by Michael Hirst himself in an interview.
There’s hasn’t been anything like Vikings since it ended. Miss the characters and the show so much. It’s just such a well done show. I’m currently rewatching it for the 4th time with a friend. I love introducing people to it
I used to see Alex at house parties growing up in high school, never spoke but we just did the head nod. Glad to see his life is successful and his role in Vikings was stupendous.
I miss Floki - he's the greatest explorer, crazy like hell but also a genius and the one constant you always will meet... You think, you are the first one to explore something, you make it to America... guess who was there first...
I Can't Get Enough Of VIKINGS!! Been To Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle, etc. But Seriously Loved Lagertha !!! Loved The Bond Between Ragnar And Athelstan. If Time Travel Was Possible... If Only.
How can one pick? Their collective energies made the Vikings a show I looked forward to every week!! I try to catch all the projects each of them have now. I know I am not alone in saying I wish there were more spin-offs from this show. Week.y shows give every one something to look forward to on TV!
Katheryn Winnick is a first generation daughter of immigrants from Ukraine. Ukrainians are descended from the Kievan Rus who were Vikings from Sweden. So she absolutely could be a real descendant of Vikings. How cool is that?
About as cool as being English, nearly every English person carries some remnants of viking blood. Its really not that spectacular, considering they just assimilated into England and shared their genetics with whoever was already here. And my surname is Ragnar, so I probably share more than most. Do I consider myself a viking? Absolutely not. I'm an Englishman.
Miss Lagertha/Katherine the most. Amazing actress. She carried Vikings for at least two seasons. Miss Ragnar also. An incredible character. Loved Floki a lot.
Travis just a farm boy that loves life and beer. He also have his own beer product called Travla. The Vikings shows actually inspired him very. He even said it himself.
Travis Fimmel. He was also the lead in the 2019 Australian Vietnam-war film, Danger Close, based on the 1966 battle between Australian diggers and the north Vietnamese in rubber plantation at Long Tan.
They are so Real.. Their characters are very deep ❤️❤️🥺... I cried at lagartha Funreal seen 😮💨😮💨..... So much deep.. In their character and acting I love Lagartha the Shield maiden 🥰🥰🥰🗡️
I loved them all and wished the series would have continued forever. Everyone of them brought something special to their characters. However, wished this channel would have included all of Ragnar’s sons, and other characters in the series
I thought Travis' portrayal of power as Ragnar was unique and brilliant. The plight of any person who is reaching for understanding of things beyond power, while having to weild it reluctantly, is a profound one.
Absolutely.. The best series i've watched to date so far. No regrets at all. I am going to rewatch it again. And I don't know how many times I'm going to rewatch it. This show and the acting, especially the writing... Are literally golden.. All these characters have a special place in my heart. Congratulations to everyone doing their thing!! It fills me with joy to see others thriving! As far as my favorite character goes.. the Beast.. Hvitserk the Berserker!!!
Have loved this . They are all amazing. But couldnt watch the where Ragnar died. All actors have put their hearts in this project.. A big thankyou for your amazing craft and story telling...
All of them are missed they came together to make a wonderful bad arse mind blowing Vikings series that will live on in our hearts forever as there is nothing like this before all the actors played their parts as real as it can be it’s a fantastic box set that stands proudly on my shelve glad there all ok 😊
Ivar the boneless wasn't ever a cripple, in actual fact he was almost 8ft tall & as deadly as he was cunning. A mass grave was recently discovered in the UK where in excess of 35 warriors were buried with their 7'10" leader top of the pile, the result of Ivars final defeat from a battle long ago forgotten.
Travis as Ragnar could say things without speaking so good, his expressions made him so good as Ragnar. As much as I enjoyed all of them, Ivar was my favorite by far. Make you HATE him at times and cry for him at the end. Yep, heres my man card...lol. Seriously he killed the part!
Katheryn Winnick is phenomenal... Big Sky should not have been canceled 😤. If the last name Sarsgaard is there... it's excellent acting bc that entire family is amazing. Travis is the perfect example of being too good at a job to leave it. 😂❤ loved this show and the casting was on point in all regards.
Alex Høgh Andersen is'nt just a talented actor but he is also very much involved in charity. He is the ambassador for the Red Cross for youth in Denmark and is very hands on working on projects to fight loneliness . In interviews he comes a cross as very humble, very focused and not that interested in being famous.
Copenhagen is a city that was occupied my German soldiers in World War II. I think spring but I just finished Viking serious. It was absolutely beautiful.
I think Ragnar and Floki's friendship was one of the most compelling aspects of the show. Their contrasting personalities and unwavering loyalty to each other made for some truly epic moments.
Ragnar is my favorite of all Vikings! He was humble and for the most part was a good man. He took chances and was a true man. Also no matter how they made him look he was still attractive. He loved Lagatha his true wife and you feel it and know it. He respected and honored her. That being said he finally realized how he screwed his entire life up with another woman. Unfortunately if I was Lagatha what's her face would have never made it to my shores with my King. Lagatha suffered greatly and did the right thing by leaving. I would have never been that noble. Never. She or her housemaids would have all died, but that's just me 😊
Man the story of Andrew is crazy. As a father i couldn’t imagine what he went through. I almost did and i don’t know if i could have deal with that kind of emotions Catherine does not look here age
Floki Ragnar Rollo Bjorn Lagertha oh heck whole cast is acting was superb and gonna say can't tell a lie I definitely cried 😭 when I binge watch the Vikings

The show Vikings made it so these people are amung my favorite actors . It's refreshing to hear that they keep there lives private .
Humble and respectful.. as most ol small town Aussies are. Till someone crosses them.
I worked with a neighbour of his and school mate at PZ Cussons.
Travis Fimmel is a narcissistic douchebag. You obviously don't know anything about him.

Travis casted as Ragnar was the best decision ever! He did an absolutely amazing job!!
He's awesome, but best casting ever for me is Ed O'Neil as Al Bundy

Travis (Ragnar) - "the acting is not my thing, i didn't know why i become a actor", and literally created the most epic and loved character possible.
He demanded to be written off the show and killed off so he could do horrible movies that flopped. That's what happened, now he's acting like he doesn't like acting to save face. He made a horrible business decision leaving Vikings, that's the truth.

Travis , so very unique, good person. I've never been hooked on anything like vikings. Cried and laughed as if they were family ❤

I adored Lagitha. She is memorable. She played her part masterfully! Queen Lagitha!
Lagertha is how it's spelled. And remember that that in Norway that the r is silent in speech

Ragnar, he is an BA viking in a calm way, but life goes on, thanks to you for all this Viking stuff.
Ragnar was a great king and he didn't want to be one, and Travis is a great actor when he doesn't want to be one
He is e great actor and e great father
This cast was magic. If anyone else were to play any of these roles, it just wouldn't work.
