Walmart doesn’t take Apple Pay they have their own Walmart pay
1:16 - "Position your wrist near the reader and wake your apple watch". That is an unnecessary wake up action. When you're ready to pay after scanning all your items, you can just double click the side button anytime and proceed to paying as stated at 1:36 onwards.

Hope to see this feature for Indian Users as well. I recently went from Samsung a70 to iphone 13 pro max!! And because of that i was not allowed to travel in buses of london! during my one day trip of london! SO Sad!! Even though its one of the most costly phones i have, it didnt do a simple task of contactless payment! which works greatly in my samsung a70 both with MST and NFC technology! I hate apple that day!! So frustrating day!

Yeah, that’s all fine and good until you turn your wrist and then the screen goes black and the screen doesn’t wake again until you turn your wrist towards you as if you were checking the time once you turn it away and put it towards the reader, the screen turns black

In india we have UPI, where we can pay without our cards. We need to scan a qr code and pay so that way people who don't have expensive watches and phones also get access to cardless, cashless, contactless payments. Google loved it

No need to take your iPhone with you. The Apple Pay on Apple Watch is independent of your iPhone, WiFi or data. It works on NFC system. Once you have set up your Apple Watch from the time you got it, you’re all set. If you have any doubts, take your iPhone with you and turn it off completely - as in shut down. And try to purchase. You’ll see that it still works.

I can tell you that what wouldn’t work when using Apple Pay is fraudulent money payments and transfers.
Will it work if you dont have iPhone around ?
No, the iPhone must be connected to, and near, the Apple Watch.
You don’t need iPhone around if you have an Apple Watch which is GPS+Cellular it works with your iPhone or independently.
You need iPhone around if your Apple Watch is GPS only.

@@HaggenKennedyI disagree with you. Try to do what I did - I turned off my iPhone completely one time and another, I didn’t bring it with me. I was able to pay with my Apple watch when I purchased. And I dont even have GPS on my Apple Watch (it’s just an SE) Apple Pay works on NFC that it does not need WiFi, your iPhone or data of course after you have it all set up to begin with. Go try it

If you want to watch video manuals or listen to audio books, you can just watch better quality contents instead. You can go to Apple's official website or well-known tech UA-camrs instead of this video. Tech Insider's content is more like a good enough(or even bad) remake of tutorial videos that sometime were too obvious. I used to watch them and their videos were fine back then. Their videos now are really bad(I'm not trying to be rude) .

@ash_-_skyle youtube is not just an entertainment hub, its also an information hub. Of course I can goto wikipedia, yelp, of company's website for instructions. UA-cam is used because of convenience, and this video was the number one in apple pay instructions so the search algorithm (not perfect) has a way of curating the information so that it knows what the user is looking for. User is looking for a 2-3 minute video on how apple pay works, not a 20 min apple watch review
