I am on steam my friend is on xbox, for some reason when he invites me it pops up on xbox gamebar which will not allow me to join him. He doesn't show online for me even though I have him added on xbox and epic. Any ideas? Tried unlinking and re linking epic through the game.
On PlayStation 5 doesnt work friends button on the rights doesnt exist

my friends list wont even come up it says unable to find friends list
I joined some public games on XBOX and it let's me see the other player's character, however i cant see my own and have zero control. No idea what happened but i essentially get to watch someone else play and I wasnt able to interact with the game at all.
That's normal for when you join a game. You have to wait until they interact with a checkpoint to spawn you in

I created a character in Veteran mode, would my friends in Survivor mode be able to play with me still?
Progress only saves for the host except weapons, traits, archetypes, and levels will all transfer. So when your friend goes to their own campaign the difficulty will go back to normal
Does anyone know how to do this on ps5?
Since this is on Xbox game pass PC, will it work if I download it on game pass and my other friends play it on steam?

You'd have to connect your epic account to your steam account through the game menus first
