@@mentallibrary5490, that is definitely a challenge. You can put a sticker just as a visual reminder near where the camera is. What I do is I imagine my mom is on the other side of the camera and that I am just talking with her. It makes me feel better! :)
I am an MC for Buddhist meetings often and it’s very important to be early, on time with order, and end on time. A small intro is helpful, as well as introducing the schedule as a reminder to speakers and viewers. Genuine heartfelt engagement is a must.
Congratulations, @Priscillah! That's wonderful. Yes, let me know how it went and please let me know if these tips were helpful. Also, let me know if you have anything to add. Good luck!
@@CherylTanit was a inter-university pitch event the event was a success and the turn up was great despite the fact that the technical team let us down as the connection was being disrupted, the audience was a wonderful one.
Nice video! I've learned a lot. Btw, I have a question, what do u think is the right technique if technical interruptions occur? What transitions can we do about it? Thanks!
Great advice as usual! I especially like the comment on keeping intros and transitions short. Don't keep your audience waiting with an excessively long intro.
Thanks for watching! Have you been asked to emcee a virtual event yet? What are your thoughts about it?
I find it hard to maintain eye to eye contact with the camera 😢 lol
