f4u is just as fast as a p51 I think the f4u was the first united states plane to break 400 mph

aces high11 has ben out like sense 1984 85 use to be just one map lol I was playing in 94 till 2007

f4u does not compress you put one of them on your wing and spiral down to the enemy it will keep your speed and confuse the enemy

Buddy: I am sorry, but man that was painful to watch. How long have you been flying combat sims? I'm not trying to be offensive - and yes, I did like your video presentation - but your mistakes were so many and so basic I was wondering if you were just flying for the camera's sake? Your apathy and reluctance to engage is well, (sorry to be so honest) disturbing. You're in an F4U...u don't need engine power to regain your altitude from a high alt attack - all you have to do is "zoom" up and let your energy take you back up top. When the 109 came up on you I was shocked to see you break turning and destroying your E like a madman! I'm not sure, but I didn't hear you ever cut your throttle...did you? The 109 had no chance against you at his closing speed; you could have pulled vertical on him and looped over using 1 notch of flaps then maintained separation. However, when you got low and slow you had the clear advantage (I only fly 109's in AH) even though he was behind you since he was target fixated and was break turning with you. You could have cut power, dropped flaps, and turned him to the deck to his demise. I hope you're not offended by my shocked comments but you seem like a nice guy and a genuine enthusiast - it's just sad to see you hand that fight over to the 109's when simply using our flaps and cutting your speed wins a turning fight 100% with 109's. If you don't like to get into complex fighter maneuvers just remember that low and slow, you drop couple notches of flaps, and stay in a tight circle...u can even drop your gear (crazy, but it works only in this game). The 109's will die trying to turn in a circle with you and then you'll have him. The only caveat is that this simple play only works if you are 1 v. 1 and the 109 has equal speed/energy to you...if not be will BnZ you in the vertical fight and win. Good luck; put out some more vids with your improved fighter skills to demonstrate! :)

Thank you for your honest feedback! I will say that I just came back to the game after being 2 years away from combat flight sims, and this was one of my earliest sorties. I'll take your tips into consideration!
