    I think that the Trump Administration is so awful and has done so many horrible things that even the black bagging of children has not received proper journalistic review.
    That is a sad state for the US.

    Of course in a real interview you’re gonna talk in a more serious way. A bad example is:
    Officer, “ what happens if you have to return to your country tomorrow?”
    The girl, “ no, I don’t want to.”
    Answer the damn question and don’t be stupid.

    • @basicpenguin3844

      She clearly didnt understand the question
      She probably thought he said "return to cameroon" not "what would happen if you return to cameroon"

    Most asylum applicants are righteously denied, it is a very special category to fit in, very few qualify for it. We see the large caravans of migrants approaching the US southern border, easily over 90% of these people do not qualify for asylum, they are seeking a better life, and economic gain which does not count for asylum.

    • @darrenwilson3732
      @darrenwilson3732 5 років тому +1

      @Europa Man Great Comment, I agree. Legal and Illegal immigration needs to cut way back. What is not seen initially, is that 80% of the people who come to the US, go to 20 different places, that are already crowded to begin with. Usually along the coast, California, New York, Florida and Texas draw the largest amounts of people. Sadly, most of the newer people vote Blue as well, which at core levels, undermines the Nation as well! So, there is much work that needs to be done. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    • @darrenwilson3732
      @darrenwilson3732 5 років тому

      @Europa Man Great Comments! I don't think we could ever have 1 billion here, there is plenty of food for everyone, but, not enough jobs or housing to go around. Again, most people who immigrate here go to 20 places, that needs to be addressed. We also shot ourselves in the foot with the $15.00 per hour on minimum wage! This will also ruin the Nation, as now the higher wages will be passed on to the end user in all the goods and services we offer! The US does kinda have a Muslim ban on the books already, from the 1950's? Islam is a Violent expansive ideology that seeks to destroy or subjugate other Faiths, Peoples and systems of Governments. Islam never grew on evangelism or it's natural appeal, but, through aggressive wars of conquest! Islam is the worst thing ever on the earth, it needs to be kept out of America. Also entities like the ACLU and the Democratic party undermine the Nation across the board. Not a very positive scenario I have painted, but, maybe it shows what needs to be done? Thanks for sharing!

      Can you share your experience

    • @jamdawgutube
      @jamdawgutube 5 років тому +9

      @@michaelmebratu2921, I hope you didn't assume I am an asylum seeker. I could be an immigration attorney who represented asylum applicants in many interviews, for example. I guess this could be my experience? Either way, experiences can be quite unique or different. What I do know, for sure, is that you must be prepared to answer all the questions that you fill out on the I-589. Some of the questions on the I-589 require detailed responses; some require a specific, short or yes-or-no response. If you submitted affidavits/declarations, including your written statement, you must know them by heart. Of course, innocent mistakes, or a giving an incorrect date one or two times, is understandable. But, it is imperative that you remember dates, times, places, artifacts, genders, name of places and people, etc. You should also be able to recall, in details, what happened to you and why you fled your country. You must also be consistent as the officer will ask you one question in 3 different ways, for example.
      Most of the questions will focus on what happened to you, why you fled your country, why you are unable to return to your country and what would happen if you were to be sent back to your country, the reason(s) you are seeking asylum (for e.g, questions to determine if you are what you say you are- persecuted for your religion, political opinion, gender, sexual orientation, etc. ), how you were able to live in your country all this while, why you were able to leave your country and return, why are you now seeking asylum, what was your childhood like, among other questions. The questions will depend on your experience(s) as an individual, the reason(s) you are seeking asylum, and the eligible category (social group, political opinion, religion, etc.) that you are seeking asylum.
      Asylum interviews are mostly non-adversarial (though there are exceptions like everything else). However, they are similar to being in an investigation room- like a crime was committed and you are being investigated to see if you committed the crime/if you are telling the truth. Or perhaps a cross between a really, really important and long interview and a probe. You will be asked a lot of questions about you and your asylum claim; you are expected to give detailed and truthful responses, even if you get emotional. Give detailed responses when necessary. If it's yes-or-no question, just answer yes or no. If it's a specific, "closed-ended" question, just answer with a specific answer without elaborating.

    Not even close, doesn't resemble asylum interviews in the least. This is nonsense. I am a professional interpreter and have accompanied many clients on asylum interviews. An asylum interview lasts anywhere from 2-5 hours, and there is no way that you can cover even 1/4 of the questions and those you are asking here are nonsense. This is not how an interview goes at all. Basically, you've provided false information and I truly hope that people will not pay attention to it and instead will consult a professional who can really prepare them with correct questions. Don't know your purpose for this youtube video, but it cannot be taken seriously.

    when I called the USCIS to report an illegal immigrant that is concocting a fake story that he has been beaten and threatened in his own country, they said that I need to have prove that it is fake (shall I go myself to the country of this illegal immigrant and do investigations myself ? ).
    What I understood also is that the judge can limit his decision to the only verbal hearing and if the story is trustworthy than the applicant can get approval.

    • @glenn83456789
      @glenn83456789 9 років тому +1

      MrEatmy To claim asylum as an illegal immigrant you have to have fear from torture and prosecution of your own countries government or political agenda. "fearing gangs, violence or being beaten up" is not credible fear you wont have to investigate anything lol he will get denied.
