One of the reasons there's not so much bottles clinking on the audio is the Loppen was a (fairly) tiny bar venue within the Christiania free state enclave. Hence everyone was skinning up and getting stoned - hence the quiet and respectful atmosphere.

I remember finding out about it on the day, or at most day before (we were in Copenhagen on holiday), and sitting in the front table/chairs by the 30cm stage, and looking back and seeing my friend at the bar 10m away. So even though Loppen capacity is just 400, I suspect there were c.150-200 people in this medium-sized bar. Thank God one of them was taping it. I'm biased - but this would make a great live release/Best of Mazzy Star live album.
@@TheMattTempest I live about 2 hours away in Sweden and quite late in life discovered Cph and Kristiania.I've walked past this place many times but never been in.There's another good music venue there, Operan.They have (in Covid free world) GREAT jamming nights.I stage-debuted on trombone upstairs with some brilliant musicians and that similar respectful ,appreciative atmosphere. I love the magic that Mazzy played there.I only found them after a Sopranos play-out song quite recently.

Hey.. you should just put fade into you on an album and play over and over again..I know this song has a different name than fade into you.. but it's the same God Damn song just like every one of em.. yet people with 12 different great songs on an album can't even get a chance while I'm listening to all these bands play the same fucking song over and over again being on top.. makes total sense
