in my eyes you’re all i see
and my arms they long to hold you
and my lips must always be
so very close to yours ado
    cause i need you bad
    and you drive me mad
and i want you for my own
please don’t go, don’t leave me here
    all alone and so afraid
don’t you know i love you dear
please don’t let our love fade
    cause i need you bad
    and you drive me mad
and i want you for my own
    oh, go now!
now i see you every day
    holding hands with someone else
guess i’ll get back on my way
    so alone and by myself
    now i’ll dream of you
and pretend that we’re not through
i don’t have you for my own

London being a major record label back then should have promoted this band a bit more.

They scored a big record label deal. I guess they couldn't move anybody. Especially Americans.

I only know this song because of Bolt24.
      I'm an American.
      I know Canada rocked (rocks)
Canada was rich with Great psych/rock music. Awesome artists. Killer garage bands. So little of it trickled down to the States.
Some did. Some got US radio play.
The Guess Who are an example. Many more could have been popular if they had a chance to be heard on US radio.
Maybe the execs in the American music industry were snobs.
It took me over 50 years to hear this song.

What Exactly Is "GARAGE" Music? I do feel that, I have a good idea of what it is to me. It is not an obvious thing....what may be "Garage" to me...may not be ...to you and vice-versa. I feel that, the garage sound was born in the mid-sixties. To me...I like to say that, it's a "tough, take no guff" hard driving.... pop song. My friend often disputes this and says...it's Pop Music.
      And Yes...I see his logic.
I like to use "Pushin' Too Hard", "Dirty Water"...and yes..songs like "All Day And All Of The Night"..."Kicks"..."I'm Not Your Stepping Stone" which are really hard type pop songs.
Soft Garage...I don't get that. Psyche songs like "Green Tambourine" is Trippy...but, to me it's not Garage.
Now that "You Tube" is here...I have discovered a Ton Of Garage Tunes From All Over The States, like "99th Floor"....."Going All The Way". I would Love to hear a compilation of The 10 Best Garage Tunes From Each State.
      I do like Texas Garage.
      Thank You All Music Lovers.
