My E36 also “broke” when I wasn’t driving it. The damn trunk badge fell off when I was washing it. Car sounds great btw, really can’t beat the Stromung muffler.

I drive a s54 swapped e36 but my exhaust is completely stock. What muffler did you use/recommend? I’m only looking to do a muffler right now, will def do catless/euro headers in the future
Nice! Have you dyno'd it with the stock E36 exhaust? I'd be curious to know how much that system is holding it back. As for what I went with, I'm kinda old and over having super loud exhausts, so I went with Stromung muffler. It sounds great! Definitely loud enough but won't blow your ear drums out.

Been watching your videos and progress on your e36 and it's one hell of a car bro! Keep up the good work. Btw, do you happen to know the part number on those little mud guards? My e36 is in desperate need of new ones 😂
@@jpetro Let us know if it does. I have no engine lights on my e46 m3. No notable air leaks and I cleaned my throttle body along with my idle control. Rebuilt vanos etc.. I still have that issue. It goes away when warmed and many people have the same issue. Some say it is normal and was like that since new. I dont buy it.
I got an e36 myself and was wondering if you think this swap would still be viable in like 5-10 years. I really wanna enjoy the s52 until the end but I don’t want to let this car go and this is the best swap I can think of. I’m worried all these s54s and the parts will be either high mileage just not worth it. Anyways really love the vids man!
Mannn, I'm sure it'll still be viable in 5-10 years but if you have a good S52, that's really a solid platform. My S50 had like, 230k miles and was on the way out. If I would have had a solid S52, honestly, I probably would have built it. I like that engine! I'm pretty sure you can get the S54 swap carb legal but I'm not 100%.
