@@alexgarcia-kg1ob As a City fan , you gyz stop that anything can happen bcoz you sometimes you never know how much other opponent has prepared for the game you have to grown at analyzing football , and also you have to know that it’s not UCL round of 16 , BUT ITS FINAL, so my point is as it is final every opponent in between them has already prepared for it and both of them have expected a win. Doesn’t matter we have Haaland but remember he didn’t score at Madrid but everyone City fan or even everyone was thinking he was gonna finish both first and sec leg with a score so I mean nobody knows sometimes what’s gonna happen. As a city fan I really like this inter squad and formation. The have a 5-3-2 with strong fullbacks, a decent midfield and a brilliant attacking duo. Not to mention their very good pressing.

@@manoszervas9613 Idk honestly. City's defense has been fantastic this year compared to previous years. They don't have fullbacks that bomb forward anymore, and John Stones is never far away from the back line to drop back in. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid both tried to hit City on the counter and they couldn't do it. Vinicius's goal didn't really pull apart the defense in a counter, it was just a fantastic power shot from way outside the box. I say all this because I think Inter are less of a threat than Bayern and Madrid. If Inter are going to win, it will be through counters, but I think City is much much harder to beat that way than they used to be. That back four of Walker, Stones, Dias, and Akanji is so solid.
If we were speaking about some years ago there is no doubt in picking Modric and Kroos, but in the moment Barella, Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu are by far a better midfield trio

Inter Milan is really good at set pieces, so Manchester City should be careful. Inter Milan's defense is also strong.
Real madrid are better at both those things than inter , BUT I do think inter midfield will have more energy than madrids .
Inter Milan are a great cohesive team. They're difficult to score against, they're great in midfield and have top strikers on the team. The team is set up very well to cause an upset against Manchester City but that won't happen. It'll be a tight game it's a final, I don't expect Man City to win easily but at the end of the day, they're team is too much for Inter. They have a really good team but due to the quality of Manchester City I see them taking a close W. Inter managed to get out of a group that had Barcelona and Bayern Munich and they had a very easy run to the champions league final, Porto, Benfica, and AC Milan the easiest run to a champions league final I've seen since PSG's run during COVID in 2020. For them it's good because no one expected Inter Milan not alone get out of the group of death but get to a champions league final because no matter who you play against, it's knockout football, you have to get the job done. They're now up against Manchester City an elite team who has crushed Leipzig 7-1, beat Bayern Munich 4-1 same score against Real Madrid 4-1, so Inter Milan have their work cut out and they better hope that Manchester City doesn't crush them in the final because if they're not careful that could happen.

Inter deserves more credit for their run in. I'm a Milan fan, and we didn't show up at all, so you're right there. But Porto is a hard team to face, so is Benfica, even if they weren't at their best - if it looked easy, I think that's because Inter controlled things very well and made it look that way. But Man City won't allow them to control the game.

As much as it pains me to say I think Manchester City Treble is in the bag. I didn’t not expect Real Madrid to get walked over so easily in this game. I think this Madrid team has come to the end of its era, but what a fantastic era it has been. I understand where your coming from but can you really blame them? Man City are easily the best team in the world right now and it’s hard to say how good Inter really are when they’ve had such an easy path to the final. Remember these same people predicted that Inter was not going to advance from the group stage. Then now they’re in the final after a comfortable run then it’s because they faced weak teams. One thing inter have done is do their jobs and I think they’ll go into the final knowing exactly what they need to do against Man City and they will not think twice about it. I would love an inter, especially with all this feeling of underestimating inter.. it's a final yeah city are the better team, but its 1 game. Inter have no pressure. No expected them to get out of their group.. they have a solid squad a very good defense. A good keeper, a different playing style from most top teams. Their stickers are coming in on good form.. and there's a reason why Italy have 4 world cups, they know how to play finals.. As a Barca fan I wouldn't mind seeing Man City raising the the trophy in the end, but this is anyone's game. Sometimes you just need a little luck on your side. I don't think Man City will just roll over Inter and here is why. In this seasons champions league, man city was sensational and very prolific at home but...out of all their 6 away games, they only won one (4-0 at sevilla in the first game of the group stage), then drew all the other ones: 0-0 against copenhagen, 0-0 against dortmund, 1-1 against leipzig, 1-1 against bayern, and 1-1 against real madrid.
Man City is a different team when playing away. Defensively solid but usually quite sterile. The final will be played on a neutral ground (I expect italian fans to make more noise honestly). In the CL final against Chelsea in 2021, Man City lost 1-0. They did not concede a lot but they were sterile. Man City is only really out of this world good when playing at home. Away and on a neutral ground, they can be stopped.
Also, in the last twenty years, english teams have been featured in 11 champions league finals. 3 finals featured an english derby. out of the 8 finals where an english team played against a foreign team, 6 were won by the foreign team. English teams have had a terrible record when it comes to CL finals in the past 20 years. In contrast, in the 20th century, they won 9 champions leagues out of of 11 finals. Could that have something to do with the fact that modern English teams mostly rely on big money transfers and a team made up mostly of big signings does not handle the pressure in big games as well as teams with less superstars but more group cohesion?

I never understand how people can be so short-sighted when it comes to football.
They see a 4-0 result and think that team is gonna dominate the next game.

Inter need to just defend like they usually do but no too deep. Then make the most of any chances that come their way. They have options of f the bench and are quite a powerful side in terms of their running ability, height etc. Some $hithousery will also help and if they can get someone sent off that will be a big bonus. Its a one off game and if its hot in Istanbul, City may not be able to press and play at the pace they normally do. The couldn't press as much at Bernabeu for these reasons also as it was a humid night.

I know most City fans just started following football yesterday. So here’s a recap in European football history for you.
For Inter. 6 European Cup/UCL finals: Defeated the Madrid of Puskas and Distefano. Defeated Eusebio and Benfica to win the final at Home stadium (only two teams in history have won it at home) Lost a final against The Lisbon Lions (arguably the greatest side ever from the British isles) lost a final to a certain Johan Cruyff. won by Ajax at Feyenoord’s ground. Which in itself is pretty historic. Defeated Louis Van Gaal’s treble seeking Bayern.
Man City. 2 UCL finals. One lost by a goal from Kai Havertz.

I rewatched Inter vs Bayern. Inter were so bad at home, they couldnt make an attack. It was pretty comfortable for Bayern. I expect ManCity to beat Inter.

inters midfield is an excellent midfield...... i dont know why this narrative is spread. brozovic is one of europes best cdms. Calhanoglu has been one of europes best midfielders past 2-3 seasons in terms of chance creation also his long shot and corner deliveries are no joke. and Barella i think can compete with any midfielder in the world. if skriniar gets match fit thats an added bonus to the defence as well which is very solid as well. Inzxaghi also has a good record in finals
