Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video. I had a fantastic early morning flight around Botany and Kingsgate Bay, also, had a nice long walk along the beaches chatting with local dog walkers. I will certainly be back down there next summer as there is plenty more to film. Dave :)
Do you know anything about the families that used to live in these castles?? I read through this document of my ancestors and where they used to live and it said they lived in one of Thanet’s castles. My last name is Chrisp but back then they used “Crispe”, am I thinking of the wrong castle or was it this one?
Melancholic Plant Witch ) the surname Crispe ? I have heard this name in Thanets history I am sure that some of your ancestors are buried in the local churchyards. They were extremely wealthy.
