I have a dodge challenger 16 and one day when it was hot my ac cut off and wouldnt turn back on. Turned it on and off did a reset and ac worked fine never did that again. Shortly after it only happened during starting operations either it worked or it didnt even though lights are on showing full blast ice cold but nothing although you can hear it like its blowing but nothing comes out but its kinda faint. And sometimes when i start it runs fine cold as can be no issue at all. No code pops up either. Had it tested with a scan tool but it wasnt dodge showed no codes plus it worked for them for hours and even a week after no issue and then go to turn it off at the gas station fill gas and start it up to leave and no air lights are on doesnt matter what setting weather its heat or defrost or ac max lights are on but nobodies home what could this be any help would be great.
Having the same issue on my 18 ram 1500. Did u ever figure it out? I replaced my fan about 6 months b4 this started happening because it was making a grinding noise. Wondering if its my new fan or a relay.
@@nickbreit438 yeah turns out my compressor was locking up and failing which is also connected to the water pump which is not good so stopped running it after I realized it had locked no clutch spin. Think it was the clutch and then locked up probably making the rest of it junk sadly. In Any case I have a few other issues like coolant nasty and old so bought radiator, liquid line for ac, dryer, compressor complete, and condenser and belts so that I can properly replace the potential particulate that may be spread to the rest of the items so said screw it I’ll do it all. But then I’ve been really busy so never got around to doing it because they want 500 bucks to drain my ac system of r1234yf and refill it with a machine I guess Freon went way up a lot. Another reason I decided screw it this is my toy it can sit for a bit. But that’s the failed on me I wouldn’t wait the longer it runs the worse the particulate is spread to the rest of the components costing much more to replace.
@@nickbreit438 No problem man. I also checked a few other things like the fuse relay blend door actuators. Other culprits could be at work. Just happened to be my issue and who knows I’ll probably find something else while doing it 🤣. Anyways hope it helped. Let me know what happened just curious. And Freon level may be a leak which I hear is a common problem of the liquid line being under the coolant overflow tank getting smashed.

My dodge journeys a.c gos on randomly when I press off it gos right back on do you know the situation or have any video for this
Your way of explaining is outstanding thank you
That scanner is awesome! Your guys channel is so informative
Thank you for confirming my suspicion on my 2017 RAM 1500 blower motor!
Keep it up guys! Helpful insights on the Dodge Journey!
Wonderful lecture thank you
Thank you, Awesome video and explanation. Helped me out a lot
Thanks i wasn't sure if the resistor controlled blower speed or not ..mine blows what it wants too at the moment
Very talented mechanic, had no idea it was possible to fit the word "guys" in a sentence 15 times.
My 2016 Dodge Journey blows cold air in the front but the rear with the controls on the top blows warm air and air prey is low can you help?
If the switch doesn’t work on only the high setting, can it also be the resister? All the settings work except for the high setting on the AC switch.
I like your accent.
